When so many game companies are folding under the weight of our current economy, it is nice to see a new studio forming from the wreckage. I hope they succeed, but entering the MMO market is a bad idea. It is still way too crowded.
I can't believe I read this information on a business new provider first.
Kotaky, I depend on you to provide me with this information first. I can't spend time scouring the INTERNETZ for this stuff. Luckily my work provided me with this information.
Anyway, I hope this is good for everyone since since on the same article I read this on it said that Verizon was raising their DSL speeds to over 7mbps in 21 states. I guess that's good news for DSL users.
Thanks for the late update Kotaku towers. I really 'preshee-ate it!
Sucks that I missed it. I'm not spending any money on DLC that could have (and is) on the disc in the first place. At least charge less for it. Frikken 1200 points is too much. I'll save that money for a whole game.
At least as whole as we can get in this post "paying for DLC content" world.
It won't delete your achievements, but any new achievements you earn won't be actually saved to your account.
This content is probably supposed to be still awaiting approval from Microsoft, and as such, achievements earned before they're posted to the Live servers technically don't exist, and don't save when you sign out.
That being said, lul@content being uploaded too soon?
Yeah, you should all delete it, and have hopefully refrained from downloading it in the first place. It has high potential to crash your game, Xbox 360, revoke achievements, delete savegames, and set your house on fire. Also, it was released by Hitler's cat in collaboration with THE DEVIL.

I guess that the price of a game really reflects it's sales. And maybe, just maybe, after the handful of AAA games all released the SAME WEEK drop to 40$ in a month, publishers will stop sabotaging themselves like this every year.
I'm sure that these games are great, and like the Price of Persia 40$ price drop, after LESS then a month of being out, it could have been avoided if they came out in the MANY dead weeks throughout the year. I mean, between the dipping economy and the sheer VOLUME of other titles being released, how surprising is it that a few of them got left behind and already get price cuts? And, RE5 coming in a couple months will probably sell like hot-cakes. Granted, that does have a long line of games behind it, but so do most of the games that got a drop.
Best Buy has World at War for 35 bucks on 360 for the rest of the week. I price matched it at Wal Mart and used my $25 gift card so I only paid 12 bucks for a brand new game I actually wanted. Hooray me!

I haven't seen the price listed anywhere. Where are people getting this 1200 point from?
