    Wii Speak Channel Euro Dated

Sure the Wii Speak Channel launches in North America on November 16th, but when will we be able to speak with our European friends over our tiny white box? I mean, sure...we could use a computer to do it, but who has one of those anymore? Well luckily for us non-computer people the Europeans don't have long to wait, as Nintendo announces the launch of the Wii Speak Channel Europe on December 5th, coinciding with the release of Animal Crossing: Same Old Game and the Wii Speak microphone, required to use the service. Rock Band's Drumkit and Microphone

You've seen Rock Band's Stratocaster, but that's just a neat looking faux guitar. This drumkit looks amazing. I especially like how it comes with what looks to be a collapsible stand and includes four drum pads and a foot pedal. Heck, even that stainless steel microphone looks sexy. Gallery: High School Musical

Images for Disney's videogame version of their original movie, "High School Musical", have arrived and you know what? It actually does look like fun. Sure, it's something that Adam Brody's character on the OC would have played in a hip-slash-ironic way during a long winded monologue, but the fact that it would be a "what the heck" kind of purchase makes me like this better than EA's Boogie which might be a flat-out disappointment. Wii Boogie Details

Who's ready to make an ass out of themselves in the name of fun? EA's Boogie may not be much to look at (is it just me, or does the main dancing alien look like Patrick from Sponge Bob?), but it does have microphone and a chance to shake your tail. On top of everything you already know about the game, it was revealed at a European EA event that there will be a Video Maker mode that will allow the use for 3D glasses. No confirmation if they will come with the game, or even if they will be big super-flies or just lame aviators. My buying meter isn't on pre-order yet, but EA definitely now has one of my eyebrows raised. 3D GLASSES?! Come on, everyone knows they're not a fad. More »

The Man Behind the Seaman Comes to the DS

According to 1up, Yoot Saito, the man behind the disturbing microphone-based mutant fish game Seaman, is working on a new game for the DS. In an interview locked behind the members-only section of Nintendo Europe, he reveals that his new game will use the microphone and network capabilities of the DS, but little beyond that. More »
