For just $9.99 US you can trade in your outtie genitalia for an innie, or vice versa. Knowing how wishy-washy MMO players can be about their gender, the service allows you to change up to once a week, unless you are one of the winged Kamael, in which case you're already pretty close to gender neutral anyway. Launching alongside the discount nip and tuck is the name change service, which allows you to bury your bad reputation under another title for $29.99 as long as you remove yourself from any guilds and create a level 1 character with the desired name in order to reserve it. Once the server transfer service launches in a few weeks you will be able to start a completely new life as the woman or man you've always had lurking inside of you. Joy!

<![CDATA[Loads of Online Lady Gamers, Says Study]]>

According to the Nielsen folks, more than half of all "Active Gamers" play online. Sixty-four percent of those gamers are females; however, male gamers still outnumber female ones two-to-one. The study also stated that Active Gamers spend up to five hours a week playing games socially. Teens are still the biggest chunk of the market, and the over-45 year-old segment accounts for the smallest. So that "sexy chick" you're talking to online? Well, that's probably some old dude.

<![CDATA[Muscle Man Event Is All Sweat, Tight Pants and More]]>

Japanese game promotion seems to equal girls in skirts. It's nice to see that Bandai Namco understands that this isn't the only game in town. So promoting an Ultimate Muscle game entails shirtless men in hot pants, luchador masks and bright plastic balls.

Yesterday, at the Tokyo Dome, Bandai Namco used a Japanese pro-wrestling event to create buzz for the PS2 title Kinniku Man Muscle Gran Prix MAX. Festivities included gaijin wrestlers winning money and a masked dude throwing pink balls at the crowd.

The sweaty guys are a good start, but if they really want to draw a crowd, Bandai ought to do more with the game's logo. Hit the jump and see the light. Literally.
