Mega64 ftw, I dont think theyve failed at being funny yet. Im surprised they haven't pissed people off, especially in this video.
What does he say at 39 seconds "We all know it was ...?" and at 43 seconds "Where'd you get that .... from?" I guess these are also lines in the game, but I can't understand him well enough at those two points to know what he said.
@Rajolae: They've had mostly hits, but there have been some misses that come to mind... most of this video was a miss, some of it was just rude (i.e. the hippo comment). The ending however TOTALLY made the video worth it and then some.
I love the art movie ending with serious undertone! :)
Man there is a lot of chubby people in states. I only see US tv series and I have to say they really don't represent the truth! :) - but hey, they're called fiction.
@elmorepow: it's an unfortunate stereotype, even more unfortunate due to the amount of people that fit the bill. However, the "US = fat people" is as effective as "France= hairy armpits".
It may be somewhat reflected in the general population, but it is by no means a basis for assumption. Remember what you see on TV is a dual-extreme -- our morbid curiousity has created a media blitz based on terrible obesity and terrible anorexia/bulemia. I'm not on a diatribe saying we're a healthy country - by no means are we that - but kindly take a grain of salt that what you see on TV and in popular internet articles and so forth really doesn't represent any sort of truth, good AND BAD.
Are you afraid of the dark! AWESOME! God I love Mega 64. They had a wheel you could spin to win prizes at PAX last year. Unfortunately, one of the 'prizes' was "you have to go now". Guess what I spun.
@Hiroken: They've had that wheel for years.
Or, it was at least at Comic-Con three years ago, and last year.
Both times, I got the "Stand still until the con ends to win a free console".
@Ueziel: That show was awesome. It was stupid as hell, but it had some genuinely creepy episodes, like the one about the girl trapped in the hospital full of vampires overnight.
I think that was the first and only time I ever saw BLOOD on Nickelodeon.
@Archaotic: I don't remember actually being scared of it, but for some reason one episode with clowns inside of a basement is permanently ingrained in my mind.
Now that I think about it, could the Saw series be one giant AYAOTD ripoff?
@Archaotic: As stupid as it was, it was always better than the Goosebumps TV series. I mean, my god, look up the episode Monster Blood (1 and 2). Have a grapefruit spoon ready to gouge out your eyes.
AYAOTD was a weirdass show though, that's for sure. I remember being actually afraid of some episode involving some crazy man who had power over time or something. I think he had an hourglass? I haven't watched an episode in like 19 years.
I always thought it was a Scooter... I wish I already installed Photoshop so I could point out what I was looking at.
I lol'd with the Hitchhiker's based game. >.> Douglas Adams would roll in his grave if he knew Kojima would put a spin on his IP. Overall, this video wasn't as funny as other Mega64 videos for me >.>
