Freddie Prinze, former teen heartthrob now mysteriously gnarly grown dude, is on the marketing trail for the Mass Effect anime flick Paragon Lost (he voiced James Vega in Mass Effect 3 and reprises the role in the movie).
It's totally understandable to be wary of the upcoming Mass Effect anime. The track record for these kind of adaptations is...spotty at best.
Earlier this summer, a trailer for Mass Effect: Paragon Lost, an animated Mass Effect 3 prequel, was released. As previously posted, Paragon Lost is a collaboration between BioWare and Production I.G., the famed Japanese anime house behind Ghost in the Shell and the animated scenes in Kill Bill.

BioWare has been expanding their Dragon Age and Mass Effect story universes through comics and novels for several years. Now they're branching out into animation projects, working with FUNimation to create a pair of anime features for later this year, Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker and Mass Effect: Paragon Lost.
