Consoles are more accessible in regards to a mass audience? With the exception of internet speed, everybody is on an equal playing field in regards to online competition? Controllers are easier to handle?

Thing is, a guy on a gaming related news show should not be merely "mass market."
Controllers being easier to handle is an opinion. I know many people who fumble with joysticks.
I care because Valve is a PC developer. I'm tired of all these gamers who have never heard of valve being so into left 4 dead.
