As you can probably tell from the video, the wrestlers are having one hell of a good time participating, though several of them mentioned in performing moves the generally only have to pull off during matches that run a half-hour tops for hours at a time was a bit on the grueling side. I can only imagine.]]> http://kotaku.com/index.php?op=postcommentfeed&postId=310690&view=rss&microfeed=true <![CDATA[Heaveny Sword Hits Bravo]]> Three Speech has word that UK-ers will be getting some heavy duty Heavenly Sword action over the weekend. British channel Bravo (I'm pretty sure it's not the same as the U.S. Bravo) will be airing a half-hour special on the game during a special edition of Gamer TV. The show will look at the making of the game as well as showing off some new levels, characters and story elements.

If you catch the show, you'll also be able to see interview with some of the cast for the game, including Andy Serkis (the guy who did the work for Gollum). I sure hope this game can pull together the play elements enough to match what appears to be a very impressive visual and story-driven game.

<![CDATA[The Making of Heavenly Sword]]>

Heavenly Sword still has great potential and this making of vid for the game shows why. I like the emphasis on the facial animation and how it helps to better convey the story of the game. That and at some point it looks like there maybe a big as medieval pump-action shotgun in the game. HOT!

<![CDATA[The Making Of "Make Love, Not Warcraft"]]>

For a (fascinating) behind-the-scenes look at the creative process behind the South Park meets World of Warcraft episode that aired in September of this year, check out the full, very long write up at Machinima.com.

You'll see just how involved Blizzard was in the creation of the episode, giving the South Park production staff a spot on a Burning Crusade alpha server, letting WoW fans on the crew get a sneak peek at the expansion.

The Blizzard team gave us a special "friends and family" server to play on. Every once an a while a strange player would walk by and check out group the filming. The programmers could instantly kill a player that got in the way of filming. There's a player out there wondering what they had stumbled upon just before they were wiped from the location.

Slash-laugh. While I'm not a fan of either property, per se, even non-fans should appreciate what went into this.

<![CDATA[Swiming With Fishes: The Making of The Godfather]]> I see that my review of The Godfather: The Game scored a bit higher than most games sites. It's weird, typically my score tends to be right in there with game sites then occasionally we just completely disagree. For instance, I really didn't like Pursuit Force, I gave it a C-.
The Godfather game scored an A- with me, though it looks like most people gave it a high C or low B.
I also wrote up a feature package on the game that included a main story which talked about the making of the game and the fact that it is both a departure for EA from their typical approach of turning a movie into a game and their first entry into the Grand Theft Auto style of game.
The rest of the package include:
Mining 70s Cinema
Have time to kill? Bank on some action
Who's on board
Check it out if you're interested in the game. There's some interesting tidbits, like EA's run-in with Francis Ford Coppola and recording session with Marlon Brando.
