Rui Saotome, the actress who blogged about her difficulties dancing in the now cancelled iDOLM@STER porn parody, is back. She now blogging about yet another adult film parody. Dancing, too.

This time, Ms. Saotome is appearing as green-haired Ranka in a Macross Frontier send-up. She blogs:

Today, TMA filmed the Ranka from XXcross cosplay.

I was able to do the dance numbers without any problem thanks to everyone who supported me.

It was the first time I wore a wig, first color contact lenses and first green eyebrows.

So everything else in the movie she had already done? (And bwah? Dancing? Again?) Odd that TMA's iDOLM@STER parody got shitcanned while this very blatant Macross Frontier adult movie grinds on. Sure, we don't know why that iDOLM@STER parody was canned, but we can throw out educated guesses. The dancing? No. Fucking. Clue. Maybe something like this.

Pretty sure the Macross legal eagles are as good as the ones at Namco Bandai, so what gives?

With solid Macross games like Macross Ace Frontier out, now seems like good a time as any for some quality non-sequitur English study! In hopes of getting Macross Frontier nerds interested in the English language, we have this all too brief English study guide.

There are import basic words like "mouth" and "face," and there are English words Japanese people already know (like "smile") and loan words that have different meaning in Japanese (such as "hip," meaning "butt"). The really essential stuff is when sentences are strung together. Two examples given:

"He is between the two beauties."
"I like middle-aged man."

And middle-aged man likes you, too, both of you.

What's better than Macross? Macross bread. What's better than Macross bread? Macross canned bread. That's right, bread in a can. Mmm mmm good! Going on sale this November in Akihabara's Tokyo Anime Center, this Macross Frontier canned bread is priced at ¥500 (US$5) a pop. No doubt tastes great while playing the newly released Macross Ace Frontier for the PSP.

We've had our PSPs dusted off for a few weeks now in anticipation of this. Same for our emergency Japanese catchphrase guides, along with the URLs of our favourite Japanese importers. Because really, if you're a Macross fan, how can this not already look like the best thing to happen to the PSP?
