2006 Machinima Festival Award Winner: Edge of Remorse

Machinima director Jason I. Choi took home the Best Direction and Best Visual Design awards at last weekend's 2006 Festival in New York City for his short made from World of Warcraft footage. The film, Edge of Remorse had previously won the Best Drama and Best Overall awards in Blizzard's Xfire WoW Summer Movie Contest. More »

Machinima Festival Gets Fancy Oscar Style Opening Movie

The 2006 Machinima Festival took a page from The Oscars this year and showed an opening video created by some of the nominees to kick off the festivities. This clip was part of a live performance by the ILL Clan and shows host Ill Will cavorting with some of the other nominee's characters in their respective game worlds. The Spartan Life, Red vs. Blue and others all helped in the creation of this great opener. More »
