    The amount of ignorance and insensitivity I'm seeing in these comments makes me wonder why the human race even exists anymore.

    Seriously, I can't expect the world to fully understand transgendered people. But I can at least expect them to not treat my sisters even more like meat than their own.

    @MissAshley42: Most people wouldn't understand unless they have known someone to go through it. Either way, I'm not seeing a WHOLE lot of ignorance here. At least there aren't any hateful comments.

    @MissAshley42: I've been thinking about this a lot in the last few days; mainly from seeing some pretty heavy handed misogynistic comments on the blogs I read. From what I gather, attention can be paid to the article and comments will be relevant unless one of the following is connected to the aforementioned article:

    A woman (or chick, chic, babe, honey, sweet thing, etc)

    A racial minority

    Anyone who's not heterosexual

    Anyone who appears to not be a white, straight male.

    If any of the above occur, logical discourse is thrown out by the third comment. Remember middle school? You're not in it anymore. Treat people with some respect.

    Edit: Btw, am I the only person that thinks cartoons etc. were better in the 80s and early 90s purely because they were blatantly trying to sell products (TMNT, GI Joe, Transformers, the superior sequel Beast Wars, to an extent, Batman: TAS).

    It was a better time for TV writers, and a better time for consumers/childhoods.

    Going off a tangent here, but there is also a Korean actress/singer who is a transexual by the name of Harisu.
    She's married and has for while been popular (not sure if she still is).
