@splatternick: The game itself says you can use "any old thing" instead of a box. You're paying for the game, which is why it's so cheap. The fact that they include a piece of cardboard with a logo is a $0.01 bonus.
@Ash Crimson: Maybe I'm wrong, but I remember reading that the iPhone version would use the microphone. If not, I guess shaking it would work, but it wouldn't be very accurate for timing.
I bought this game on release day (PAL "Limited Edition Pack" with two free card boxes, lol!) and wholeheartedly agree with the review. By no means a terrible game but its a real missed opportunity. )-:
@TheWP: Depends on your surface of choice, really. I had originally played on a flimsy EA Sports Active box and had problems with the remote sliding. I think switched to a Dreamcast Keyboard(!) box, which worked just fine. But, in general, I'd recommend you put a jacket on.
