Anyone else notice that the Game & Watch Collection on the Club Nintendo website now says "sold out"? I was only, like, two surveys away from getting that.
Anybody know if they've been "sold out" before, only to be restocked later? Or am I going to be buying myself some posters and a pen case instead?
@sideshowbob916: Wind Waker was a pretty bad Zelda, especially compared to how good Majora and Ocarina were before it. Half the game was just sailing aimlessly around a featureless blue void looking for triforce pieces you COULDN'T FIND if you were using a Wavebird.
The game had an amazing end-boss sequence and one of the most haunting stages ever (Hyrule Castle), but overall it was a pretty bad Zelda game (which still means it's decently better than most other games). Link's terrible "always giving the People's Eyebrow" character design didn't help either.
@Archaotic: I replayed Wind Waker about a year ago and I really don't remember needing to use rumble to find any treasures, including the Triforce pieces.
The Wind Waker was actually the only Zelda game I've genuinely enjoyed. It has its faults, sure, but the open seamless world heavy with exploration (I never found sailing to be an issue at all) mixed with the timeless graphics (Twilight Princess looks more outdated than Wind Waker to me) and a really good storyline makes me like Wind Waker the most. Twilight Princess was just Boring McGeneric Fest through and through for me. It had its moments but its gameplay felt archaic, significantly more than Wind Waker despite it being newer.
I do agree that the Twilight Princess poster is awesome. The one thing I liked about Twilight Princess is its beautiful concept art, which sadly wasn't even close to being replicated in the actual game.
@Ueziel: Fighting engine =/= entire gameplay scheme. Wind Waker introduced a variety of gameplay elements that were very well integrated with the game and the story. Twilight Princess focused nearly the entire time copying Ocarina of Time and adding a tiny twist to it just so they could call it "new".
@(Starman) AnalysisDialysis: dunno, some people sig their emails with their real name not their Kotaku account.
Just a pet peeve that people go "oh but I knew about this weeks ago" when the email to tip news n stuff is right THERE<<<----
@deanbmmv: Ah, same thing, but even worse on YouTube. how over there people and b/tards alike just comment randomly and ask stupid q's w/o looking at the description.
@NintendoTim: And mines Dean :D
But yeah for some folks it isn't. I was more taking a dig at the guy for pulling the "waah, Kotaku is slow at news" when they could easily tip it. I've probs send it loads of tips.
Pretty sure you meant "unwilling" infant rather than "unwitting". I mean, was the infant ignorant? Inadvertent? Accidental infant...what are you trying to say?
Can an infant really be oblivious? Doesn't that entail...I don't know, consciousness? On an infant? And specifically consciousness of Zelda?
OMG makes me want to have a baby just to make him wear that.
And where's the option to favorite this story? Can't find it! I know that if I dont favorite it I'll never find this story again months down the road :(
At first I thought it was supposed to be a bottle sheath before I read the article. Gave me some weird images of a baby going around smacking other babies with his/her bottle.
@Paradox me: I came into here expecting a reference to Lon Lon Milk but this exceeded my expectations enough that I'm going to fill your heart container!

My god that game was epic, one of the only games where i actually thought the world was in peril.

That being said, I ordered it for the Twilight Princess poster, which is gorgeous.

It's a little redundant, honestly.

Dude, have you ever been near an infant?
I'm pretty sure they got the title correct.
