Sure, there are tons of educational DS games, but most don't really seem that educational. Tsugawa Method DS does. The game is based on the kanji learning methods of Hiroyoshi Tsugawa, who says that by circling can improve your ability to remember difficult kanji. In short: if there is part of the kanji character you cannot remember, simply circle it. Then, visual it in your head and/or write it down a few times. Actually, seems like good advice — though now that I know, what do I need the DS game for?
