    There's no way I'm playing this. It's far too goddamned slow. And I don't even mean the framerate stuff, annoying as that is. RPGs tend to be rather tame in their standards for skill and strategy as it is. But if that's going to be the case, at least get to the point and I'll probably have some fun.


    All this watching running animations and swinging the camera around for 15 seconds is just too much. Press the button, make the action happen, move on to the next action. Anything else is just too big a waste of time.

    These are the same framerate issues so nagging at the Tokyo Game Show. The pop in seems more noticeable, and the colours are very....browny-grey. This is a shame as while it won't appeal to everyone, those of us it does appeal to (and I can't explain why but it's one of few RPGs to ever grab me) will have to skip or suffer the tecnical issues. Unless they fix it or fix it for PS3.

    Gorgeous visuals, amazing monster and environment design, etc. because it's stilli n development, I'm sure we can excuse the object pop-in but what about the weird gameplay? Turn-based combat is stuffy and boring enough, but here we see guys line up and pose then enemies basically fade in in front of them for a beating then fade out... what's up with that?

    Don't be hatin' on the battle system. That was just a clip of one entire fight sequence, and I guarantee battle tactics and attacks will get ridiculously flashier and more intense as the game progresses. Hiroshi Takai is the god of RPG battles, and this is essentially the next SaGa game, so just try out Romancing SaGa if you want a sample.
