But we're not going to just *give* it away. That's too easy! Instead, we are going to have a contest: a hair contest. What do we mean by hair contest? We are looking for the most Square Enix-ey hairdos! The company is famous for the stylized way its characters look. That means bring on gelled, feathered, moused, layered, sprayed, dyed and perfectly coifed locks. Snap a pic of your 'do and send it to kotakucontest@gmail.com. Remember, you aren't just competing for Project Sylpheed, but also INTERNET FAME.

We thought we had good hair. We were so wrong. Reader Shapeshyftr, he has good hair. Good Squeenix hair. Not only that, he can follow rules and hold up a sign. Good man.

<![CDATA[Halo 3 Beta Shirt Contest]]>

One contest down, another to go! Remember that today is the last day to enter our Halo 3 Beta shirt contest. Check out Daniel's entry! He explains:

The armor that I made is constructed of cardboard, duct tape, plastic, acrylic paint, and cloth. It is made to be worn with black clothing, and comes with a MA5-C Assault Rifle that magnetically "clips" to the back. The lights featured on the Master Chief's armor are represented by glitter-glue, giving the appearance of being on. The helmet houses a cradle that fits a Bluetooth headset, providing the ability to make and recieve calls with the costume on.

To bring late-comers up to speed: Make a Master Chief costume, snap a picture and send it to kotakucontest@gmail.com by June 1st. Any material may be used — creativity encouraged! The catch is that the costume must be made by you, and you must be 18 years or older.
