I still haven't installed Dragon Age, but when I do..... my wife will most likely be pissed at me for the next couple of months.

The first AC really, really became an effort for me to continue. Very repetitive, and the combat was boring to say the least. My opinion of course, there are many games I love that I would be embarrassed to admit to here. Lol.

Also, reviewers keep saying they spend upwards to 20-25 hours completing everything the game has to offer, I can def believe that as I've been playing for hours and finally made my way into Venice last night, also making the first breakaway from Ezio and play as Desmond for a little.

I know I'm still excited! You can tell I'm excited But I completely understand how you feel, I know how boring 1 was. I'm not trying to defend it too much but this next game is so much better. I know alot of people feel like AC2 will just be as boring as AC1 but They did almost everything right this time around. I really can't think of anything I don't like about this game. But I completely understand why you feel you shouldn't even bother.

"In which Crecente's neck is hugged. And he likes it."
Followed by, "In which Brian Crecente uses the word "sexy."

A li'l take on Demon's Souls:
I love Demon's Souls. I am obsessed with it. It kind of reminds me of the original Ninja Gaiden in that no matter how many times you go through a level flawlessly (after painstakingly learning it), there will always come a time where you will get impatient and your timing will be off by a touch and you will die mercilessly at the same spot 5 times in a row.
The game sets up a challenging playground and doles out the tools necessary to navigate it at its own, brilliant pace. The game teaches you how to play it, you just have to listen well. If you don't pay attention and adapt, you will quickly become so frustrated with your failures that there is no point in playing.
As you level up, the choices you make with your weapons and stats make for a very organic-feeling character creation. You adapt your character to your preferred play style while adapting your play style to the environment and the tools at hand.
The controls are tight and free. They really attain a balance of the freedom of action titles (though without the combos of, say God of War or Devil May Cry) and the rules of RPG combat. They are easy to learn and hard to master, but unlike as is the case in many games to which that adage applies, mastering the controls is more of a means to an end than the end itself.
The story is more evident than explained; there are very few cut scenes and your character has no dialog. The NPC voice actors are superb.
Like all epic RPGs, there are a lot of intricacies available for pursuit and exploitation; this is a meaty, meaty game that relies on high intensity combat, a very rare combination. It's one-of-a-kind, and it's really hit my spot.

I have played BioWare RPGs, Mass Effect and KOTOR. I don't how it would work, but I'm not a developer and therefore it is not my job to figure out such.
And no, I am simply not interested in the game. The only reason I was interested at all was because I thought it was a multiplayer RPG. Which I was interested in trying it out with my friends. However since it is not, there are plenty other games for me to play and enjoy that are either out or coming out in short order, like Modern Warfare 2. #kotakureviewroundup

To those clamoring for the Demon's Souls review, are you hinging your purchase on this upcomming review, or have you already bought the game and waiting to see if your opinions of the game are echoed/validated by the review?

I generally don't really need reviews, as I can get a pretty good idea of a game's quality simply by the all the previews and various announced features. #kotakureviewroundup

Dragon age origins and Darksiders are perfect example of those games that i need more than just reviews and word of mouth in order for me to make a choice on them ^_^ #kotakureviewroundup

Also the destroyed hut can be a site of protection from the enemies if you charge right into that house and avoid being in plain sight. If you have the sword you can lock on and kill the flying mantas from in there while being protected. Also you can avoid the barrage from Storm King when he swoops down as well. #kotakureviewroundup

I Pre-ordered mines through Gamestop and thankfully managed to get it the day after it came out. Though I've had some bad experiences when ordering elsewhere so hope all goes well, go Borderlands on futureshops if need be. #kotakureviewroundup

I'm a bit surprised he use the review format. Telling us what he "Loved" and "Hated" about his life before summarizing it was a bit much.
Overall, any life that ends on a positive note gets a 10 from me.
That's the first 10 I've given out ever! and that's with the knowledge that my girlfriend ask me to rate her looks from 1-10. I kid, I only kid. #kotakureviewroundup
