    @Turkeyslam: He is damn good. 2nd in league. Until he wins anything though, he doesn't deserve the title king. I mean the Cav's were built around him. Perimeter players who are designed to be able to hit open 3's after the d collapses on Lebron driving in. Lebron isn't getting those stats all by himself. The way the Cavs play and are designed is to run the game through him and maximize his output(though that can partially be attributed to Mike Brown just being overall terrible at coaching). He just doesn't have the complete skill set or the winning pedigree that Kobe has for him to be called the king of the nba yet.

    @maraxusofk: Tell that to the Nike execs, the people who buy his gear, countless "witnesses" in the media and around the world, and the season ticket holders (like me) who will be cheering on "THE KING" and his "WITNESS PROTECTION" for the 2010 LOB!

    Also: Artest sucks compared to James. It's interesting (kind words) when you call James overrated when he carried The Cavs last playoff season, and outright earned season MVP from his athleticism. It weren't the Cavs versus the Magic, it were Orlando versus LeBron (and a few people that showed up to watch the game instead of playing the game.) #kobebryant

    When you are famous, you should stick to having sex with other famous people.     @Kobun: Proven false? Have you read the transcripts of his police interviews? Even his official apology states:

    "Although I truly believe this encounter between us was consensual, I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did. After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter."

    @Gray665: It's called a PR statement. He can't come out and say, "The girl's a slut," without incurring the wrath of many and further tarnishing his name as these false allegations have done. Documentation shows she both slept around and bragged about nailing Kobe to a desk clerk among others.



    An apology admits wrongdoing, and that statement does no such thing. Likewise, if you read the transcript yourself, you'll see Kobe details consensual sex even going so far as to offer the police his boxers from the night before. You're welcomed to post a link from the transcripts where Kobe admits raping the girl though, and you should have no trouble finding it since I know The Smoking Gun still has them available.
