    I absolutely love the original PSX game. One of my favourite games of all time. Maybe it didn't have as revolutionary gameplay as some other platform games, like Mario 64 (although the 2.5D perspective made for some interesting level designs), but Door To Phantomile was one of the few games I enjoyed every second on any playthrough I've ever done.


    Please Namco Bandai don't change Mr. Klonoa's look. My heart couldn't take it. He's special to me.

    Actually the clothes look good. Basically more detail and better smaller proportions. The ears though, goddamit Namco Bandai, do not change the ears! It's the biggest feature that makes the character original.

    The lines are really crisp on the new one, like they had to blow up a really small picture to get the original version. I wonder if that's going to sway any opinions. For my money he's gotta have the hat and floppy ears, but I could live with the tweaks to the clothes.

    Something about the one on the left has such an innocent look to it, like what Sonic used to look like. Just a kinda adorable mascot that got twisted into being EXTREME and IN YOUR FACE, ala Poochie, the rappin dog who knows where it's at!

    @Kloud: Apparently whatever Klonoa's species is's ears fall off when they grow up. Just like the people in Loveless, for different definitions of growing up. (Or the same definition--T rating confirmed?)
