Kingdom Hearts A PS3 Exclusive, Will Be Seen At TGS

Tagline above says rumour, but really, we'd be surprised if either of these things didn't take place. The latest issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine (not sure whether it's the British or Australian edition) is making its way to letterboxes, and in the mag's rumour section is the following: "Kingdom Hearts III is currently in development as a PS3 exclusive and will be announced at TGS". Seeing as Kingdom Hearts I & 2 were PS2 exclusive, that's hardly a stretch. And with Kingdom Hearts II being nearly three years old, we're well overdue for a third game. Stay tuned, TGS kicks off in just over a month.

No, You Cannot Party Demo Final Fantasy XIII (Only Watch!)

On August 2nd and August 3rd, Square Enix is holding a "private party" with the utterly ridiculous name DKΣ3713 that will be limited to only 2,400 attendees, picked by raffle through the Japanese Square Enix Members website.. It will showcase Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games. And just like we thought, Final Fantasy XIII will not be playable. Best part? Knowing how Square Enix rolls, photograph of the demo trailers will be strictly prohibited, and the trailers for the big titles will mostly likely be shown in "closed theaters." So! If you want to see them, be prepared to wait in line for like an hour. Make sure you bring your memory cap so you don't forget the experience! Kingdom Hearts III Extended Trailer

Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix+ is out in Japan and it didn't take long for this clip from it to land on the interwebs. DarkHelmet543, whoever he may be, wasted no time in uploading this extended footage of the Kingdom Hearts III "secret" trailer. The first couple minutes of this footage was available after completing KH II, but that was only the beginning. This version fives us a full five minutes of what looks to be quite a departure in style from the previous two KH titles.

I would love to see Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix+ come to the states, but once again I think we will have to be satisfied with passively watching all the cool stuff the Japanese actually get to play. Flynn De Marco

Disney Wants Its Kingdom Hearts III And Pronto

Kingdom Hearts is a cash cow. I know it, you know it, Square damn sure knows it and bet your ass Disney knows it. The game's producer Tetsuya Nomura says that the animation company has already asked Square Enix about making a third installment into the highly successful series. Nomura dishes:

We've already been approached by the Disney side saying that they want us to make it. What I can say at this time is 'We have various ideas, but we're not at the point where we can say that.' It's physically impossible at the present. I feel that it's not the right time to talk about the future of Kingdom Hearts.
