Superman's eyebeams, Wonder Woman's lasso and bracelets, etc. Is it me, or do these character renditions seem vaguely gross...sort of uncanny and bleh?

<![CDATA[ Huntress Hits Justice League Heroes ]]>

We've been awash in a sea of next-gen and whatever Nintendo is calling their Wii console for the past week, but we don't want to forget our current gen roots. There are still some hot games coming out for the Gamec...Xb.. for the Playstation 2.

Besides God of War 2 and Bully, I'm starting to get a happy pants feeling about Justice League Heroes. Yes, for the record, this is one of those games launching on the Xbox, PSP, DS, GBA and and, likely, a few cell phones.

The dev team have already announced that Aquaman, Green Arrow and Hawkgirl will all be unlockable, and today they sent out a duo of Huntress screens. This is one of those games I wish was going next-gen, because the closer we get to the PS3 and Wii joining the 360, the less I want to power up my old consoles.

<![CDATA[ Ron Perlman to Voice Batman for Justice League Game ]]>

Warner Brothers has announced the voice talent behind the upcoming Justice League Heroes game hitting the Playstation 2, Xbox and Playstation Portable this fall.

The slate of talent for JUSTICE LEAGUE HEROES will include: Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Blade II, Justice League TV series) as Batman; Michael Jai White (Spawn, Spawn: The Animation) as Green Lantern; Crispin Freeman (Viewtiful Joe, Kingdom Hearts II) as Superman; Courtenay Taylor (God of War, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One) as Wonder Woman; Chris Edgerly (Drawn Together, Chicken Little) as The Flash; Kari Wahlgren (The Wild, Steamboy) as Zatanna; and Daniel Riordan (Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Star Trek: Enterprise) as Martian Manhunter. Portraying select villains will be Peter Jessop (Spawn: The Animation) as Brainiac and Carlos Alazraqui (Reno 911, Duck Dodgers) as The Key. Additionally, Ralph Garman (Family Guy, KROQ-FM Los Angeles' Kevin & Bean morning show, The Joe Schmo Show) will voice Green Arrow, one of the game's special unlockable super heroes.

I'm a huge Green Arrow fan, of course. I mean, he's got the whole piratical facial hair thing going.

<![CDATA[ Justice League for the PSP, Xbox, PS2 ]]> You may have heard that there's a Justice League video game in the works. We've just discovered that the game will be called Justice League Heroes and will be available for the Playstation 2, Xbox, and PSP. The most exciting news, however, is that you'll be able to play as Zatanna! Finally! The gaming world has been begging for a chance to play a woman in a top hat and fishnet stockings who casts spells by talking backwards. Pleading! Gamers have been dreaming of slipping into Zatanna's corset for decades! At least I think they have. It's not just me, right?
