This game is great. While the score multipliers kinda invalidate the "social experiment" part of the game, I think once it became apparent that GIRL would never, ever, reach Mars on her own, you might as well throw in the multipliers so that at least the few remaining fans can have fun on new planets once in a while.
I am one of those few remaining fans, by the way. I fucking love Noby Noby Boy. I actually think it's better than Katamari.
@MrBionic:
Without a score multiplier mars would have never been reached in the first place much less jupiter. It took us for days to get the 384 thousand kilometers to the moon. The average distance from there to mars is 228 million kilometers, thats more than 590 times as far. Or approximately 2300(6 years) away, assuming everybody kept playing the game as much as when it released. And the distance from mars to jupiter is even greater than that. If they designed the content for people to see then the only way is to have huge mulitpliers, especially as less and less people play.
@Lavastine001: In that case, once your social experiment has failed, then you just decide to either A) Unlock all the planets, either at once, or space it out at even intervals to prolong the experience if you care to (say, one a month), or B) Sell them as DLC.
B), of course, would be a huge risk, and I'd never promote is, but it seems to be the way the developers like to do things. I do appreciate that Noby Noby Boy didn't just do that from the beginning and decided to try something new, however flawed.
Sometimes I wonder why I'm so principled in some things, yet so NOT in others. lol.
I'll probably go back one day to grab the few trophies I've left to get, but overall I never really felt I was really playing a game when using this one.
It's like the ultimate time waster, because that's all it really does.
Although I did happen to be online when Girl reached the moon, and that was kind of cool, I guess.
@ninjaDance: I had the same experience, after half a day unable to put down the controller I haven't opened it up, except once by accident. :/ Its such an odd "game".

May as well just add a multiplier that will allow you to get to Alpha Centauri by tomorrow, why not?
things like this either need to stick to the principle, or just not attempt it in the first place, IMO.

I fired it up and was promptly addicted for about 5 hours straight.
Since then, I really haven't had the urge to play again. In a nutshell, I don't know how to judge it at all. =D

Thinking of having another look though...

One thing I know for shure is that I'll have to try playing it someday.
Also: loved the classical piece... what's the name again?
