A local here in Columbus did the same thing a few months ago. It's a six button stick with the start and home buttons hidden under the cartage gate. He showed it off at the last Seasons Beatings. #oddities
Love it, but do you have to blow in it to use ultras and specials? Does it use Game Genie? These things are important to consider in an arcade stick. #oddities
@Muzzled: If you're talking about the way the end buttons curve downward the farther right you go, that's the Astro City cab setup, used primarily by Hori, rather than the Viewlix setup, which MadCatz mimics, where the right most button columns are parallel.
So this stick is probably using a modified Astro City panel or a Hori board. Leet points go to Astro City panel usage. #oddities
@TheCleaningGuy: I was always a Viewlix man, m'self, and from the looks of it, Hori will be one large, collective Viewlix man as well when the HRAP V hits. #oddities
@mintycrys is HOT for Bayonetta: I know, I know, Viewlix is the future, but I've always had a soft spot for Astro City cabs.
Which is why I'm loving my local Gameworks right now. #oddities

saw this movie last night.sorry Tarantino,you are my favorite director of all time, but you finally - and quite successfully - made a movie that SUCKED.
@Kristopher.W: Only Tarantino movie I have thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. Kill Bill pissed me off, Pulp Fiction was great but this movie was quite the awesome.
I read in an interview that Inglourious Basterds took him about six years to write; this was suppose to be, and I guess, is his masterpiece, his magnum opus if you will (hence the clever little ending, I thought). However, in the course of ten years, you have to imagine he wrote more material than he could fit into a 2 and a half hour movie (screenplay had to be trimmed down from 600 pages). In one interview I read, he said there was a lot of stuff he had to cut out and instead of a film, the screenplay was going to be turned into a novel but he changed his mind. Anyway, in the same interview, he also said that, depending on how this one was received, he was planning on filming another World War II film much in the same vein as Bastereds except featuring a group of AWOL black soldiers making their way through Nazi-occupied France. He seemed pretty adamant about the idea of filming a sequel so I don't think it's totally out of the question. And besides, haven't you heard of "Passion of the Christ II: Crucify This!"?
@NeVeRMoRe666:
i found to be too much dialogue...in all actuality, i thought the movie was going to be a gory, bloody action war movie. like saving private ryan, but far more over the top in Tarantino's directing style.

lol j/k. I've been planning on doing something like this for quite some time, but finances have been tight for a while. :/
No other consoles are flat enough to pull this off comfortably. #oddities

My only qualm with the film was that we didn't see more of the Basterds in action, specifically Hugo. But then, there's always the sequel.

It's like saying Passion of the Christ will have a sequel... has QT ever done that?
