"We all know that Lee is the right person to give this project proper prenatal care."
That's it! I'm out!

I'd much rather have Lee AT Microsoft, rather than him having to tell us after the fact, over Youtube, how to make Natal work correctly because Microsoft was too dumb to hire him.
An added bonus for him is that working in Applied Sciences qualifies him for a future position at Wayne Enterprises.

Hmmmm....
If you read carefully the article, it clearly says that M. Lee is hired by Microsoft. On his personnal web site, he clearly says that he's working for "Microsoft - Applied Sciences".
Nonetheless, it's great to see such a talented individual working in the gaming industry. It gives a lot of credibility to the Natal project.

now Microsoft has him and is using all his fantastic ideas for dull drab halo games. YAWN.

No. If anything, hes the sort of guy that was handed a bunch of toys he was told to 'have fun with' and rather than play dollhouse, he welded them all together to make a megazord.

Microsoft having half a brain to pick him up bodes well.

"Xbox and Microsoft deserve an enormous amount of credit for taking on such an ambitious project. It's one thing to say "Wouldn't it be cool if…", but it's another thing entirely to say, "let's dedicate the resources to really make it happen inventing whatever needs to be invented along the way." I have to say it's pretty neat building the future -from procrastineering blog
I AM SO EXCITED!

You know personal computers existed for years, relatively unknown, before they got marketed and sold to everyone on the face of the earth, right?

Even if that were true, wouldn't that reinforce the idea that they know what they're doing?
