    @FunkmasterC: I wish to god THQ would give No Mercy the 'Perfect Dark' treatment.

    I have used a mod called SummerSlam which was good to see, I just hope that isn't the closest I will get.

    @Ryūkot: EA signed them up to make WCW Mayhem 2 but Vinny Mac bought WCW and ended it. AKi went on to make the first 2 Def Jam games (not the crap one).

    They currently make lots of Nintendo DS games and I think their latest big name title was Ready 2 Rumble on the Wii - IGN gave it a 3.5 lol.

    It's safe to say, the great developers who made the legendary wrestling series will have moved on. Some got swallowed up by Yukes for the Smackdown games but not enough to keep the game at it's full potential.

    The key philosophies just aren't there anymore. Simple things like a good submission system just isn't in the game anymore. They don't build on what was achieved the previous years, they just take more out and try crap things

    I liked the old wrestling games more anyway.. Does anyone remeber WWF Raw and WWf Royal Rumble? Now those were cool wrestling games, with cool flashy sig. moves.

    The only fun i had with WWE games were tlc matches, putting a table on a table and a ladder on top of that, then somersaulting of it... that and pushing people off the "hell in a cell" Guess my fondness for wrestling died when my pubic hair set in...

    @jlburgin: There first match was back in 2004. Over the years they've wrestled so fucking much, not only that but they already have a Triple Threat at WM 24 as well. Not to mention the dozens of times Orton and HHH have wrestled. Its fucking awful

    @excel_excel: In fairness, it takes a while to establish a star and make him a house hold name. Trips, Cena, and Orton weren't big stars right when they came in. Although, I would like to see the new and already established guys get a push and not job to Orton.

    Oh yeah seeing the pic of HHH reminds me how WWE issued publishing orders for pictures of the game.

    Reviewers couldn't show any blood in the pictures to go along with the WWE's new PG image, and this was a good one and 100% real...


    That no Triple H screenshots could be used that showed his character "in a defenseless or vulnerable position."

    neither of these two should be involved with wwe anymore..they've turned out the same fricken game 4 years in a row..wwe needs to go with a fresh perspective and have someone else make their games. Same goes with ufc...that was just a joke of a game.

    what does jakks even do? ive always seen their name on stuff.. but outside of on the wrestling games.. i never see it anywhwere else.


    anyways, if thq cant get aki to make the next wrestling game, then i hope they lose the license. after legends of wrestling compared to undisputed 09.. its easy to see that yukes should stay on mma.. and away from wrestling. in fact, i dont think ive ever liked a yukes game all that much before undisputed.
