I haven't spent much time with the demo, but it's a nice looking product and thankfully coming in at half the reported 800 points price it was shooting for (due to missing the cutoff date, no doubt). Any chance for a micro review? It does support on-line multi-player, so it's potentially got a lot to offer for that $5 asking price beyond, ya know, being lacrosse.

To those wondering what use it is if you can get a Bible for free online or otherwise: Perhaps this can be convenient for those who have poor vision. Likely people with poor vision have large TVs (I bought a 62" TV for my dad who has so-so vision), reading off a large TV may be much more convenient.

Reading from a book can be difficult for some older people due to shaking hands, strain on eyes, etc.

On the other hand the price surprises me. If the file is less than 50Mb it can be sold for 80 MS pts. If greater, it can be sold at either 240pts or 400pts.

Perhaps there is more than just the Bible in this App, perhaps it includes commentary as well as lessons or whatever aids are required for students. That would be much more interesting than just the Bible itself (as a 360 App, not talking about the actual teachings or content). #religion

I am a Roman Catholic, and I am not sure what Bible we use, but I could always download one for free online in PDF format if I wanted to.

Still nice to know that atheism isn't completely rampart online. #religion

@papercube: See that's where I didn't make a mature decision. For what I studied, UNC-A would have been a more rigorous education. Engineering and applied sciences pay the bills at State. But I equated ACC membership with my own personal prestige at the time. Many kids do. #religion

@TexasJack: They're a publisher. Therefore, they can do it. Any random person couldn't just put up a bible, since every version or edition of the bible is different and owned by some person or another.

There's nothing stopping you from writing a book about a bunch of random scifi crap and then later getting people to believe it's religion, though. Then you can put that on XBL! :D
