congratulations... you managed to win an award, you see. IGf09--the titles we all wish we could be. you made it to our website and posted names-on-the-wall. you checked up above them and it won more votes than them all now your a hero but havent you beat your damn own game? were happy you made it but how are we gonna flame it and call it la-ame? maybe make machinima making your game sound as gay as possible. (to the tune of YHTBTR)
I've had this game since last year. As much as I love the guys who develop it (hey, I bought the thing) and as much as I enjoy the gameplay, it's really far too barebones in its current state to be entertaining past 1 week. And it doesn't feel like they've made much progress in the past year either.
Definitely check out the demo and definitely buy it if you want to get creative and make your own stuff for the game but if you want some kind of involved month-long experience you aren't going to get it. Not yet anyway.
I wish the Data Realms guys luck and suggest that if you want hilarious gibs and pixel-perfect pixel-physics then you should buy this thing now. :)
Nice. I always look forward to playing some quality Indie games when I can.
Now, what's the difference between the main competition entries and the student ones? Are the student ones just entries made by even more independent student developers, or can the ones in the main competition also be made by students?
@Blah8: The difference usually implies that student-made titles were made as part of a programming class structure or class requirement, and not for any intended business model.
The other indie category generally implies it was made independant of publishers, yet still intended for some sort of sales and distribution.
@egyptomix: how awesome would that be as a Wii game using the nunchuck and remote to do mim gestures!??? I'm excited just imagining it... what a funny and cool concept! plus you could have tons of mime jokes from people walking by making jokes about mimes lol
@shan6: Okay, how about: "You are a nakkid female mime artist in Paris, who must earn as much as possible, by miming your way through an invisible maze"? Better?
