I'm pretty sure this will never see the light of day. There's no market for this on the wii. but what's the point of commenting, I doubt anyone will read this comment due to this horrible commenting system.
@brainboy77: I know I don't constitute an entire market, but this, at the very least, has me intrigued.
P.S. I don't really fully understand the new system either nor am I totally comfortable with it but I'll wait a week before undergoing my old man rant about "TEH CHANGE!"
@NeVeRMoRe666: I guess, but hardcore, third party games have a bad track record on the wii. I remember when I only had a wii, the conduit was like the next big, thing, comparable to halo. Once I actually got Halo and Cod4, my expectations for wii games rose to heights devs like high voltage didn't come even close to.
@brainboy77: damn people, stop hating on the new system! you can edit now!
anyway, i disagree, though if you're saying "will it come to the US?" i agree prolly not, which sucks. why arent fatal frame 4, ju-on and this kinda thing bound for our shores? id totally support them. mebbe if Silent Hill 1 remake does well, they'll see the market for awesome horror titles.
@Tehman: I hope it has T-mobile or something, I don't want to walk around New York City for a reception just so a ghost could tell me I'm going to die.
Lol, I was listening to "Ghosts" by Michael Jackson and logged onto Kotaku... Right at the part where you hear a woman screaming in the background, this woman that's being molested by hands shows up... Freaky @_@
I prefer my horror games without fighting or any form of battling. Every time I play a Silent Hill or Fatal Frame I longingly wish I could skip the enemies and just focus on solving the mystery while taking in the atmosphere.
I hope this game focuses more on scares, atmosphere, and mystery while less on fighting monsters. The first few times it's fun, but these games ofter require lots of double-backing. It just becomes tedious having to kill the same monster repeatedly. It's less fun and more a chore.
@AncientUnknown1: The press release mentions avoiding attacks, but nothing of attacking yourself. Hopefully it's more Fatal Frame and less Silent Hill.
@AncientUnknown1:
You may also want to keep an eye open for the new Silent Hill coming out on Wii. I played it at E3 and it was looking very good. As far as I could tell, there wasn't really any combat. Although there WERE enemies. You had to flee from them and basically, solve puzzles while avoiding them. It made for a very frantic experience.
@AncientUnknown1: You ever hear of/play Capcom's Haunting Ground? I never beat it, but it's a really interesting game. You never fight, you basically do what you just said - run away from the enemy while trying to solve the puzzles. You have to find places to hide and stuff. Check out a review for it.
That main picture looks really, really bad. Not because of the graphics, but because that person does not look scared at all. Looks like she's laughing. Anyway, wiimote cellphone? Could be interesting...
Kind of disheartening to know it will be out in January as I was expecting sometime this month or next.
I don't see why 360 owners would be peeved at a lower price, especially considering that this is pretty much Bomberman Live under a different name and a year and a half later.
I'll just be glad to get it since I miss playing the Live version, as it was my favourite Bomberman.
