    I suspect it's a common Japanese female thing. I had a friend who was charming in real life but enjoyed drawing monstrosities in her spare time, like beheaded princesses cut in half and beaten to death with rotten tomatoes from passing princes. Disturbing stuff.

    She seems like the perfect match for one of my artist friends. Sure he doesn't draw rubbish, but knowing him yeah.
    That drawing is somehing that brings to my mind kill it with fire, and I'm glad imaginationland isn't real. It mating with Man-Bear-Pig would be disastrous.

    Ok .. ok I get it .. It's a caricature... so the head is big. Body medium. Legs small. Those are boobs not testicles... and those are legs, not tentacles.
    Someone please tell me why the artist persists on having the character vomit blood into a bowl ... ?

    This artist is brilliant. She's evoking so much emotion and horror from passersby with ease. It can easily be seen as a feminist piece: The girl's horribly contorted body is wasting away; sagging eyes betray the lonely sorrow she feels. Forced to wear braids and crimson ribbons by society for the sake of men, her hair bleeds while taking shape as a phallus. She is biting down upon it--the drawing portrays a final effort from this tortured girl's attempt at reclamation who is soon departing from the world by hanging herself with that rope-like rod.
    If nothing of the sort is intentional, at least it's unique.
