Oh, if Far Cry 2 doesn't have a predecessor how can it outsell it?
Pretty sure only Crysis has a predecessor to outsell. You know, because it uses similar gameplay mechanics and has a similar setting to the game previously developed by Crytek.

@Aparanoidandroi: That's Imagine: First Abortionz. Where you use mini games before and after, but the actual abortion is guiding the doctor's hands and abortion equipment in the Trama Center style operation.
Each abortion introduces the player to different scenarios. You'll meet Tina the 50 year old trophy wife who is tired of her cheating husband and is having her baby removed during the first trimester to punish her cheating husband. The Tina storyline also introduces us to Hank (Tina's husband) and Cindy (Hank's mistress) and you get the play a mini game as Hank where you do multiple tasks to get Cindy to miscarriage and you can break up with her guilt free.
I rented it and finished it and... it's fun. It is, it's a fun game. I even played a little online with it.
But it's also a bit of a joke. I mean, power-sliding? Really?
It's a Clancy game, right, so we're expecting a degree of realism, and a tone of seriousness to the game along with a feeling of urgency. Think back to the first Ghost Recon, or the very first Rainbow Spear games. They felt exceptionally real... by comparison HAWX (I'm not doing the stupid periods, fuck that) feels like an arcade, light-hearted, completely "fun" plane shooter.
I guess another way to put it is that HAWX feels very much like Rainbow6: Vegas... but less realistic. Anyone who's played R6:Vegas will know precisely what I'm talking about.
Working at Blockbuster, it gets rented occasionally. So that's nice for them, I guess. Sort of like when the occasional person comes in and rents Trainspotting. You know, except Trainspotting is good.
@icepick314: 360. Most games that are rented out are 360 games. I'd say a 3:1 ratio. But I live in Georgia, so those numbers could sway in bigger metropolitan areas or something. I wouldn't rent it on either system, though, and I get the rentals for free...
It gets rented rarely, though. The first week it came out people were clamoring for it, but its niche appeal has died down.
Did they fix the perspective for Assistance Off yet? I heard there was some crazy bug where the option to change to Cockpit view when you were flying "properly". :P
!? All of these planes are already in the game! Nice way to get a quick buck, I guess... But much more worrying, why is there absolutely no way to unlock these on PC without hacking our savegame!? Love the game, but I think the PC version needs a bit more love and pacthing. =\
I hope this comes to PC. I love the game, and can max it out at 1920 X 1200 with high fps. I like the way it plays with the 360 controller, but I really should get a decent flight yoke.

As for the spelling of Babyz - well, surely we can't really expect babies to be able to spell correctly?
