The result will be a slew of t-shirts, hats, boxers, even something called "loungewear" featuring the artistic stylings from such Playstation greats as God of War, Ratchet & Clank, Resistance Fall of Man, Heavenly Sword and Little Big Planet.

I can't friggin wait to lay about in my house wearing nothing more than a pair of LittleBigPlanet whitey-tighties under my silk God of War smoking jacket while I sip cognac and pass judgment on the gaming world.

IV Gear already has their list of games up, but no product pics yet.

So excited. List of companies and silly quotes on the jump.

<![CDATA[ This Chain Chomp Cap Is Like "Arf! Arf! Om Nom Nom" ]]> chain_chomp_cap.jpgLike what you see? Here's how to make your own Chain Chomp knit cap, as designed by knitter Allison MacAlister. Step 1, learn to knit. Step 2, go to the Knitting Ninja's web site and download the hat pattern. Step 3, ????. Step 4, you have a fantastic wearable homage to Super Mario Bros. 3—and or Super Mario 64, if you're so inclined—that will do its best to keep your noggin warm while giving the appearance of a black ball devouring your brain.

<![CDATA[ The Space Invaders Fashion Show Continues, This Time With Hats ]]> Premiere cap manufacturer New Era is getting into the video game thing in a major way it would seem, as the follow up line to their Pac-Man series of fitted hats is an even wider Space Invaders collection. Seven caps, each with embroidered classic Space Invaders graphics, make up the line and each run about 6000 yen (somewhere near $55 US). They're currently available at Japanese retailer Cap Collector and will match well with your expensive Space Invaders Porter luggage in the same vein. Somehow I don't think Taito is done commercially exploiting the game's thirtieth anniversary quite yet.

<![CDATA[ Namco Meets New Era For Pac-Man Caps ]]> Some of the more casual fashion friendly types at Kotaku Tower aren't just into t-shirts and sneakers—some of us like fitted caps, too. So when Namco teams up with cap experts New Era for a line of Pac-Man fitteds, we expect great things. Oh wait, it's Namco. Expect run of the mill things. The Namco X New Era line looks to have dropped in Japan recently, a limited edition trio of wool baseball caps that feature Pac-Man, Inky, Blinky and Pinky. Each will set fans back 6090 yen (about $55 USD). More hats, more pics, at Fuctard's online store.

<![CDATA[ And All I Got Was This Stupid T-Shirt ]]> mye3haul.jpgPerhaps there were oceans of swag at this year's E3 that I just couldn't see due to my gifting of a taxi cab driver with my glasses, but that doesn't mean I walked away empty-handed. I did get a real cool Fallout 3 t-shirt that I kinda technically already had, only three sizes too small for me. Oh! And I did snag a few of those nifty E3 hats that were being given away every time someone got off the shuttle bus at the main convention hangar, which are excellent for soaking up sun-melted Kotaku writer juice. You probably don't want the hats then. Can't say I don't blame you. Oh! And while I was supposed to be at E3 when I missed my initial flight on Tuesday, the nice folks at Bethesda delivered unto me a new lunch box, totally unsullied by airport screeners' hands! I love happy endings, don't you?

<![CDATA[ These Hats Are Really Pillows! ]]>

A while back we brought you news that NCSX was going to be selling these awesome Mario and Luigi hats so you could wear them around town and elicit odd stares from strangers. As a matter of fact, NCSX thought they were selling hats too. But, when the shipment arrived it turned out these hats weren't hats at all, but pillows! Still pretty cool, but if i had been one of those that pre-ordered one of these I'd be pissed. But at least now you can put these on your couch an elicit stares from your friends rather than the cruel nameless hordes.

<![CDATA[ The Pope Condemns Video Games ]]>

Newsflash: We're all perverts! Yeah, I guess that isn't news to many of you, but now the pope thinks so as well. In a message marking the church's World Communications Day, Pope Palpatine Benedict XVI had choice words to say about our favorite pastime.

"Any trend to produce programs and products — including animated films and video games — which in the name of entertainment exalt violence and portray anti-social behavior or the trivialization of human sexuality is a perversion"

Sheesh. Give a guy a giant pointy hat and suddenly he's the big perversion expert. Of course his stance comes as no surprise, as the Catholic church has long maintained a strict anti-anything fun whatsoever stance. Still you have to wonder, ubi possum potiri petasi similis isti?
