    Just when I swear off posting Haruhi dance videos, comes this: Prisoner inmates doing the Haruhi dance. Let me repeat that. Prison inmates doing the Haruhi dance. Here the cons at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center in the Philippines strut their stuff — snipers, spotlights and all! Word has it that this is just practice, so they aren't, you know, quite where they need to be. The warden is apparently taking requests as previously the inmates did Michael Jackon's Thriller.     Lucky Star Gets Lucky with PS2

    If anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya gets a PS2 game, it would be a dame shame if anime Lucky Star didn't. Fret not! This November, Lucky Star *is* getting a PlayStation 2 title. Players will take on the role of a new, original character, and the title is apparently an "adventure game." Doubt it'll live up to the anime's opener. Heck, the anime doesn't even live up to it!     Zelda Meets Lucky Star

    Even if the Haruhi has officially creeped me out, there's always the Lucky Star anime opening. Not as slick as the Haruhi dance, but pretty catchy! Here's the Zelda take on it, complete with Triforces being tossed into the air. It was done by David Wagstaff, who writes:
    After seeing a couple of Lucky Star intro parodies I decided to make my own using the Zelda models that were ripped by someone a while ago. Rigging each model ready for animation was pretty lengthy but animating them was alot of fun.

    Anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya continues its gaming onslaught! Joining the announced PSP and PS2 games is a Wii version. The game will be released by Kadokawa Shoten. There's no announced release date and isn't much info, but we really hope it's PACKED with dancing mini-games. Yup, cue the ending dance sequence after the jump.     Haruhi On PS2, Too

    Not only is hit anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya getting a PSP version, but a PlayStation 2 version as well. Hey, why not? People are still snapping those PS2s up! The console version will differ from the portable game and feature lead character Haruhi as "Ultra Hero Haruhi," a parody of fantasy RPGs. There will be a super posable "Ultra Hero Haruhi" figurine as well. Game's out next January. More »
