Prop-making genius Harrison Krix's latest project is Fishbones, a rocket launcher from League of Legends:
Harrison Krix is a guy who we normally post about for his props work, recreating famous video game weapons, but this piece is a little different.
Hey, it's Harrison Krix. He's built a Nightingale bow from Skyrim. It's the real deal, yo. Well...OK, maybe it's not magical, but the wood and string parts are real enough.
Even though there's a growing business around the wares they create and parade, cosplayers rarely run into legal problems from the people who own the copyrights to the characters they're dressed up as. Which only makes this legal problem all the more absurd.
It's perhaps Halo's most impractical and "unrealistic" (relative term!) weapon, but also one of its most iconic: the Needler, pointy purple death-dealer of the Covenant. A weapon which, for one show only, is making an appearance in the real world, courtesy of Volpin Props.
