Say goodbye to the hamster ball rolling poop device, there's a whole new way to play with your pet hamster indirectly that is fun for you and supposedly, your hamster too. The folks over at Mixed Reality Lab on that tiny island of Singapore have created the device for you. By buiding a giant, complicated robotic aquarium, your hamster can enjoy being chased around by a mechanical tunnel AND be pleasantly poked and proded by the ground below him. A hamster can "choose" to join in the game (and they swear that if given the choice, they do) but it looks a little cruel. Probably just as cruel as building them multi-colored plastic tunnels to run around in, but cruel nonetheless.

<![CDATA[The Ultimate Hamster Video Game]]> I was having a relatively bad day until I saw this. This video completely makes up for the whole hamster dance movement. Well, almost.

I love the 8-bit music, and the ending credits are a great touch. My girlfriend owns two of these little guys. Hopefully they will survive the inspiration this video has sparked in me.

<![CDATA["Love Hamster" Must be Duct-Taped Beforehand]]>

In a wild bid for "Worst Name for a Videogame Ever", Love Hamster is due on the Japanese DS scene on November 2nd.

Players can design six rooms for your hamster to run around in. You can also play dress up and teach your hamster words by speaking in the microphone.

There is currently no North American released planned, but if you really feel like your DS experience is incomplete without talking hamsters that throb and twitch like the freshly-extracted organs of your vanquished foes, I'm sure Bashy will be taking orders.
