I think I've played at least six versions of Reptilia, yea it's an ok song, but please...stop using it because you've already got the rights to it. I'm not looking forward to playing songs on games I already own. Between this and news that GH Metallica would include a bunch of songs already included with RB2, I'm willing people will be unhappy that a game they've owned for a year has the same songs as the LATEST music game, even from another company it's a poor decision.
@VengefulRonin: Which is why people hate what Activision is doing. Sure, we as gamers can tell the difference between GH and RB...but to the general populace there IS going to be a music game overload.
People will get sick of the genre thanks to the oversaturization of GH and RB will get drug down into the gutter with it.
Meh. No online means no purchase. I enjoyed the first game, but after that when I realized they weren't even going to put forth effort to include online play, I said forget it with Decades. Besides, I don't listen to any of the "modern hits" on that list. It's far removed from any of the music I enjoy. Pussy rock, woo woo wooooooo.
Christ, where's the Metallica, Megadeth, Faith No More, Tool, etc. etc.? I mean, at the very least, they could make a version with rock/metal that doesn't cater to complete doorknobs.
Ok I'm getting really sick of Metallica games now. Meteallica is my favorite band, but because activision is like raping the series I'm not buying it and that's for sure.

@CmdrBladeHearts: I pwned someone at Kotaku and all I got wa...: I blame that on Harmonix leaving after GH II, and then the "me too" mentality of World Tour. Guitar Hero after Harmonix is just playing catch-up with Harmonix, with their drums being the only real improvement over Rock Band.
Harmonix was doing nothing more than playing catch-up with GuitarFreaks. Rock Band extended it further by mixing GuitarFreaks with Percussion Freaks. I don't know why people keep thinking Harmonix is this unflinchingly original company. They're not. And they're the ones that chose to leave Activision and sign on to the destroyer of all music good, MTV. I like both series, but I still like Guitar Hero best of the three.
Y'know, if you're enough of a loser, even with those good looks, to stoop so low as to play a shitty Guitar Hero game at a park's lunch spot, and you happen to find another person just as loserish as you doing the same thing... it was meant to be.
Mr. Good, this is the internet. Do not be alarmed. A Can-Hazmat team has been dispatched to your location, and will arrive shortly. Please do not make any comments involving lolcats or cheeseburgers/cheezeburgers. We are hear to help, Mr. Good, and we can make it all better. Just please, put down the keyboard. "Can Haz-ing" is curable. We WILL fix you. We will not give up.

Seriously, how are they not crumbling under franchise fatigue by now? Absurd.

GH5 and a Band Hero game apparently in the works. As well as GH: Van Halen.
