The website has a true Grand Theft Auto-style map, and there are mini games like a sniper games, red light district multiple choice game minus vegetable fucking, and an airport baggage game. Nothing quite like pickle hookers and capsicums getting cavity searches! Imaginative stuff.

Welcome to Veg City! [Official Site via Marblehead Blog via GamePolitics]

<![CDATA[Ice-T: Video Games Diffuse Human Blood Lust]]> Actor and rapper Ice-T loves the video games! Just ask him. Ice-T, what do you think about video games? "I love them," he says. Most notably, Ice-T's favorite is Grand Theft Auto, which he describes as "fucking mayhem." According to Ice-T:

...I was in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I played a cracked-out rap star who had his lyrics stolen and the person that stole them became a star. So I went on crack and by the end of the game I get my reputation and my mansion back. You start off as a kid in South Central LA, you build up your rep and then you get a gang. It's definitely some crazy shit.

The Vice City games are the worst shit ever — in a good way. It's so intentionally wrong that you've got to get into it. You go, "Oh my God, if I'm out of money I just rob a liquor store." Inside this world, all the things that you think about, you can do. Does that make you want to do it in real life? No. To me it diffuses it. People say video games make kids violent. I don't think so. It can be an outlet for that aggression. It's a masculine thing. Human beings have some weird blood lust, it roots back to us being animals. It's ill, though.

Somebody knows what they are talking about and that somebody is Ice-T.

<![CDATA[GTA Celeb Phil Collins Hasn't Played GTA]]>

Phil Collins may never have played Grand Theft Auto (he still hasn't!), but that doesn't mean he's out of place in GTA: Vice City. To give that 80s Member's Only feel to the game, Collins has lent his likeness and tunes to the PSP title. In-game, he appears as himself (a GTA celeb guest first!) and bangs out his most famous song "In the Air Tonight." Vice City's Vic Vance has to protect Phil from assassins. But, there must be something deeper to bring Phil to Rockstar's doorstep. Something. Phil tells MTV:

People think of me as a lot softer and cozier than I actually am... I'd much rather head towards the ax murderer then the guy who everyone thinks is the cozy dude, you know... It kind of annoys me a little bit that just the word 'Phil Collins' is 'working with Disney.' That just conjures up a whole bunch of things which it isn't. Disney, which is kind of a family entertainment. Phil Collins, which is kind of 'One More Night,' light stations, you know? It is part of what I've become. But it isn't actually what I am. And so, any time I can shake the cage a little bit, I will.

And even though he's also never played 50 Cent: Bulletproof, he expresses interest in appearing in the game's sequel. Just know: Phil Collins ain't no Disney softy. He's a bad ass, and he'll cut you.

He Ain't Much of a Gamer, Really [MTV]

<![CDATA[Cowboy Bebop Vice City]]>

Manga, anime and PS2 game Cowboy Bebop dubbed with dialogue and music from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Everything syncs up perfectly as if were a real movie! Like, I'd actually watch 90 minutes of this.
