Actor Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction, Mission Impossible) is apparently lending his velvet smooth voice to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. He's voicing Victor "Vic" Vance, the game's main character. This isn't 100 percent confirmed (or 10 percent, for that matter), but IMDB lists it, so take that for what it's worth. Hope so, because Rhames could read the phone book, and it would sound cool.

Ooooh, sexy.

Rockstar, ever the minimalists, just sent me a very short press release with the official box art for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories for the Playstation Portable. The game will hit in the U.S. on Oct. 17 and Europe on Oct. 20 for a suggested retail of about $50. Wow, being the top PSP game really has gone to Rockstar's head.

The game is in development by Rockstar Leeds and Rockstar North. Can't. Friggin. Wait.

<![CDATA[Vice City Stories Patent]]>

Back in October 2005, Take 2 announced a new Grand Theft Auto title would be coming to the PSP in 2006. GTA fans wondered if it would be the rumored Vice City Stories. On March 21st, the company filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for a Vice City Stories trademark. The patent is good for computer game programs, software, cartridges, instruction manuals and pissing off politicians.
