    I'm still not holding out for the PS3 DLC... don't think it's coming soon. Even if it does come, I probably won't purchase it unless they release the Episodes from Liberty City on Disc. :| I'm not rebuying GTAIV again. Or a GTAIV Complete Edition is released on the PS3. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    It's amusing how much it bothers people that the GTA IV DLC may not be entirely 360 exclusive. Exclusive DLC isn't in the best interest of gamers.

    Anyway, hell yes if this turns out to be true. Hopefully GTA IV runs well on my hardware, seeing the time it's had to be patched and the fact that it sells for less than $20. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    Despite the fact that I didn't think the bike stuff added much to the actual gameplay of GTA4, Lost and the Damned had my favourite story of any GTA game, so it's definitely worth picking up if you want more of what you got with GTA4.

    I feel the exact opposite about The Ballad of Gay Tony though. I didn't like the story at all and thought the characters lacked any real motivations, but the new weapons and parachutes were so much fun to play around with, and the missions were all very unique, so the gameplay was the highlight of that one.

    The two actually go really well together. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    I'm not a person that has problems with exclusives ... I think it makes good business sense for certain companies at certain junctures.

    However, hopefully, down the line, both episodes will get to the PS3 and PC. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    @jayntampa: .... I'm surprised than people still believes that GTAIV's DLCs will be available on PS3. Did you guys were sleeping in a cavern for 2 years or what ? Microsoft bought the GTAIV DLC. They paid 50M$ for them. It's been in the news since then.

    Seeing the DLCs on PC 6 months after their release on 360 was sure to happen since Microsoft also have Windows. You are going to hear about Gay Tony on PC in May next year, mark my word on this.

    However, thinking about a possible release of these DLC on PS3, it is impossible. It is like if the next iPod would run a Windows OS or if New Super Mario Bros was released on PSP.

    @jayntampa: Ok I must admit that my response was a bit aggressive ;)
    Knowing that GTAIV cost around 100M$ to make and that Microsoft paid 50M$ for exclusivity for the first 2 episodic contents on 360 (since some people are saying that 2 more DLCs might be on the way) I think they would need a very good reason to break that contract. I don't think that Microsoft's army or lawyers would have negotiated a deal for a year of exclusivity at this price.

    Anyway, I think that Microsoft didn't really win in the long run with this strategy. GTAIV didn't have the expected reception from gamers and total revenues from the sales for the first DLC didn't cover the 25M$ yet. I don't think that BoGT will be able to beat that nether. And people doesn't look like they bought more XBox with this deal since most of the people around thinks that the 2 DLCs might be coming to PS3 eventually. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    Oh my god, what a news here, ofc its coming to PC and to PS3 aswell. Rockstar never liked to be exclusive. They want to make more money as they can, by making polish and good games or they can be timed exclusive, that, yes. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    I finished my loong ago and when i heard that the DLC is exclusive i sold it. Only regret i have is that i sold it before getting the TROPHY patch, so i have no trophies.

    I AM however waiting for them to at one point come to ps3, as it is said that M$ pumped money into RockStar for a "timed" exclusivity. So, just like i'm gonna do with Fallout 3, i'm waiting for a "GTA 4 GOTY" w all the dlc included.

    All i hope is that RockStar does the same thing with that "Agent" game for Sony and does not shit in our faces.

    IF M$ got it's exclusive stuff, so should Son￥!!!! #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    @benkatz: Rather than releasing a GTA4 GOTY, they're more likely to release a stand-alone disc for the DLC like they did on 360, with the new radio content and so on. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    @DAS: BluRay disc doesn't affect crap when the additional content is downloaded. The downloaded versions on 360 didn't have the new radio, IIRC.

    Lost and the Damned + Ballad of Gay Tony fit on the Stories from Liberty City disc, with the radio stations and all. That's a 9gb disc. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    @Koztah: Errr... GtaIV main game is only 11.4Gb. BR = 25Gb

    11.4 + 9 = 20Gb. Plus extra 'redudant files' to make seek faster ~= 25Gb.

    As for the DLC w radio content, they can just add it in as a separate feature in the disc ala Star Wars Ultimate Sith.

    So all will be in one disc, but not directly in touch with each other.

    What I was saying is that they could just release the Stories from Liberty City standalone on PS3 instead of the GOTY nonsense. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    @TheCatInTheHat: Especially considering the PC version sold CONSIDERABLY less copies than the 360 or PS3 versions. Porting it to the worst-selling platform and skipping the middle seems like an INCREDIBLY stupid idea. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    @Archaotic: Since Games for Windows Live is Microsoft's "thing" too, I wouldn't take this as a sign that it'll be coming to PS3.

    GFWL is pretty much a Microsoft platform as well, so the exclusivity isn't really being broken, per se. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned

    @QualityJeverage: I dunno, it says "Only on XBOX 360" on the box, not "Only on XBOX 360 (and also PC when we feel like it)". It's stupid. Make it exclusive or don't. Stop jerking people around and looking for loopholes.

    Besides, isn't the PC version of GTA4 an unholy mess that requires almost a Crysis-level system just to run properly?

    @Archaotic: Couldn't Take-Two/Rockstar just bypass this "exclusivity" bullshit by releasing the GTA Episodes as GTA IV: Special Edition?

    Wouldn't something like that technically make the PS3 version a "different" game?

    I bet we'll see some news on this once again in the spring, and these Episodes -- one way or another -- are coming to the PS3. #grandtheftautothelostanddamned
