Four Zippos themed on classic Namco properties Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Xevious and Galaxian are yours for the pre-ordering and importing, should you have the desire and funds to complete the transaction. I say that because, like the Sega Saturn and Mega Drive Zippos, these aren't cheap. Each is 10,000 yen, equating to a $108.90 USD price at importer National Console Support.

But if you're expecting to need a Zippo in January, these might be exactly what you're looking for.

<![CDATA[Metal Gear Solid 4's Very Limited Duck Clock]]> For the Metal Gear Solid fan who wants to wake up in style, Konami has created the "GA-KO Alarm Clock", a full-service recreation of the egg timer made famous in Metal Gear Solid 4. We suppose it could still be used to time your egg frying, but it looks like it feels more appropriate on a nightstand, with its adorable little face and sassy pose.

It's limited to 2000 pieces — and importer NCSX says the GA-KO is currently sold out — but after peeping the extensive gallery at the retailer, which shows off the Metal Gear-esque packaging, you might want to check back. They say they're getting more stock next week. Definitely do want.

<![CDATA[Slimes For Your Wedding Registry]]> As a sucker for just about anything Dragon Quest slime related, I was pretty delighted (and envious of our Japanese brethren) to see that Square-Enix is now selling slime silverware.

Made of 100% stainless steel, the utensil trio contains a tea spoon with King Slime, curry spoon with Heal Slime and fork with your standard stock Slime all for a modest 1760 yen. Definitely a bargain.

Now to find myself a wife whom I can somehow convince to allow me to outfit the kitchen, living room and bathroom with slime related merchandise. Salt and pepper shakers, rugs, saucers , towels... I need it all. Yes, NEED!

<![CDATA[Rogue Galaxy Demo Includes Sweet Booty]]>

Kotakuite Rafael wrote in to let us know about the cool bonuses included with his copy of the Rogue Galaxy demo. Not only did he get a relatively cool promo poster, but a sweet pirate flag! Who cares how the game turns out, that flag is bad ass.

Someday, I'm going to get off my lazy butt and join the PlayStation Underground. Unfortunately, the only time I ever give it a second thought is when someone else is basking in the rewards of being directly marketed to. Sigh. I'll forget about it a few minutes, anyway.

Thanks for the photos, Rafael!

<![CDATA[TGS06: I Hope This Okami Plush Isn't For Humping]]>

Unlike E3, rest its soul, you can actually buy cool stuff from video game publishers at Tokyo Game Show. One of the halls is dedicated to selling t-shirts, mouse pads (with breasts to rest your weary wrist upon, of course), love pillows, statues, towels, and toys.

I'm not sure if they're actually selling this Okami plush or not yet, but if they are I pray to the gods above that this is intended for display only and not for lonely times.

<![CDATA[Get Your Limited Edition Pac-Man Watch]]> Club Namco has begun soliciting orders for this limited edition Pac-Man watch that, if I'm being honest here, looks decidedly craptastic. The little yellow beast travels 'round the edge of the watchface, with Inky, Pinky, and Pokey eternally trapped in the center.

Some highlights from the product page:

PAC-MAN moves with an invisible 'second' hand around the dial to chomp up the pellets, as well as bonus cherries and a Scaredy ghost which accent the '3' and '9' hour markers.

Limited Edition of only 500 units produced exclusively for clubNAMCO available in the United States. Each backplate is labelled with a serial number making each watch unique.

At $130, I'm having a hard time seeing the value. This is coming from a guy who dropped $60 on a Mario Bros. t-shirt that I don't even wear. Sorry, but the whole thing just looks cheap. I'm passing.

<![CDATA[Banpresto Readies Nintendo Headphones, Alarm Clocks]]> You can always count on Banpresto to take anything, from the mundane to the useful, and slap on some Nintendo branding. The company has opened up pre-orders for not only Nintendo headphones, with Donkey Kong, Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. versions, but also alarm clocks that are shaped like Famicoms.

famicom_alarm_clocks.jpgThe alarm clocks will lovingly wake you up to the soothing sounds of Excite Bike, Dr. Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Ice Climber or Super Mario Bros.

Do want. No details on ship dates or price just yet, but we'll let you know if any import retailers solicit pre-orders outside of Japan.
