Mistwalker head and Final Fantasy Hironobu Sakaguchi blogs about it.

Sakaguchi is having meetings in Tokyo about the game, and the title's game system is "almost done". According to the designer, "It makes tactical use of 'confusion and order on the battlefield" in real time."

The designer goes on to say he's pouring 120 percent of his energy into the title. He sounds optimistic about the game and working with the development team. Wonder what his 'stache thinks.

<![CDATA[Final Fantasy Creator Is Interested In Doing A Wii Game]]> Hironobu Sakaguchi is best known for two things: Creating Final Fantasy and his 'stache. His resume is more than that! He's also created Blue Dragon for the Xbox 360 and now the Nintendo DS.

Since Microsoft Game Studios published Blue Dragon, we don't have our hopes up for the game appearing on the PLAYSTATION 3. When asked what are the chances of a Wii version, Sakaguchi replied, "I think the Wii is a wonderful system. It's very unique, starting with its iconic controllers. We have no plans at the moment, but I would love to make a Wii game in the future."

So no Wii Blue Dragon at the moment, but Sakaguchi would like to make a Wii game someday. A magnificent Wii mustache game, we hope.

<![CDATA[Sakaguchi: I Don't Like Ken Kutaragi]]> Final Fantasy alum and Blue Dragon creator Hironobu Sakaguchi explains to Electronic Gaming Monthly why he doesn't have any PLAYSTATION 3 projects planned. Frankly, he doesn't care for that Ken Kutaragi. Oh, and he apparently thinks the console's "architecture is tricky."

That doesn't mean The Gooch is a Microsoft fanboy, though, as he's quite critical of the company in his forthcoming EGM interview, taking shots at the MS Japan marketing department.

Fortunately for the finicky, mustachioed Mistwalker developer, one of his issues with PlayStation development will soon be moot but something tells me we'll see a Mistwalker effort on Wii before we see one on PS3.
