    Since when are game adaptations of movies AAA?

    @milkmonkey:

    Well, there was that there Goldeneye game once upon a time...

    Also, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Not a direct adaptation of a movie, but far better than the Indy movie released 15 years later.

    Why does the press release explain all its acronyms? Even "Personal Computer"? And there's so much justification in there as well, as if they think they're going to get yelled at for doing it. This only serves to highlight (at least to me) how out of touch with the game industry they really are. This is cold, calculated milking at its finest.

    Wow. So let's say a person can buy some crack rock or sherm outside of the store, walk in, grab a 12 pack of Keystone Ice, beef jerky, a couple of burritos, and Call of Duty: World at War.

    Awesome.

    This is a great idea. It will sure beat out walmart for all my late night game purchases.

    Me (at 12:30): Do you have any of X game yet?

    Walmart: Yes, but stock gets put out randomly, check back tomorrow.

    Me (at 12:30): Do you have any of X game yet?

    7 Eleven: Let me check. (2 seconds later) Yes it was right in this box that was sitting at my feet. Here you go.

    So they've started charging for stuff in the Sims 2 beyond worthless expansion packs now? Yikes.

    How long until 7-Eleven managers/workers wish they didn't have Guitar Hero band kits in their stores taking up space?

    Would games companies permit 7-11 to keep selling games if they're going to keep breaking the street dates?

    @PlayItBogart: Good question. I guess that depends on how willing they are to get their games in the hands of a wider variety of retailers-- i.e., other than Gamestop. Though I haven't heard of any retailers really being blacklisted because of this behavior (even though 7-11 is setting a precedent in blatancy).

    There's no 7-11 in texas anymore, not that I see. But I'm glad someone is trying to dethrone gamestop.

    Prepaid game cards for Guild Wars? It's free to play, though.

    The only reason I ever go to 7-11 is for the Slurpees. They are goooooood stuff.
