    What about Heroscape? I like playing it with friends. And, for the record, Arkham Horror DOESN'T SUCK. Zombies is also a great game to play with friends. Who doesn't like zombies?!?!

    Risk?

    The game everyone owns but has yet to finish a complete game, going by the entire ruleset correctly/ Or even finish a game, at all? Before finally realizing that it's more fun to just throw the pieces?

    @Revenant: The new Risk has a faster-playing variant with a set number of minor and major goals (randomized from a larger set, I think) rather than world domination as the win condition. It's based on the limited edition Risk: Black Ops ruleset, but without the limited edition board design. Also, Risk 2210 managed to both keep the play time managable with the 5 turn limit and add a lot to the design.

    @galewind:

    Any Lovecraft fan that only cares about the names of the monsters, maybe.

    Arkham horror is he anti-Lovecraft. Instead of a dark world where the dark forces always win and all that characters do is hide, and maybe delay the inevitable a little, you get a game where people gun down Shoggoths, and can actually defeat Great Old Ones in combat! The point of Lovecraft is that humanity can't win!

    I'd rather be stuck playing monopoly than that POS.

    @hibikir: Whatever, the game is awesome, and you lose as often as you win -- I'm a huge Lovecraft fan, and I think it rocks. It's highly recommended as a cooperative board game.

    The title of this post sounds like something out of a John Hodgman book.

    That Gabranth helmet is quite impressive, though a full suit of armor would've been better. Love the Acer too.

    I know it's a joke, but please let me stress that you should NEVER give a dog as a surprise gift. The recipient of a pet should always commit to the responsibility beforehand.

    I had my credit card out and everything for the Life-size Brotherhood of Steel Statue, but alas there was only one available and it's long since gone. I suppose it's for the best. A purchase like that would likely send my better half over the edge.

    Im all over that tank. Yeeeeah motherfucker!

    I wouldn't even park it in the back yard. I'd be arrested the first day of having it after I started driving it around town for kicks.

    I mean, you don't buy a Lamborghini Diablo to obey the speed limit, do you?
