<![CDATA[Toys "R" Us Offers $25 Gift Card With Super Mario Galaxy Purchase]]> It looks like the Super Mario Galaxy deals just keep on coming. First GameStop offers free two day shipping and now Toy "R" Us is getting in on the action too. Purchase your copy of the game that will make you dust off your Wii (in-store) from Toys "R" Us and you'll be rewarded with a $25 dollar gift card. Pretty sweet deal right there seeing as it's about half off of another new game (depending on the game). That's almost enough to make me want to get in the car, drive the ten miles to the nearest TRU and fight the hordes of screaming children to get it.

<![CDATA[GameStop Invades Grocery Store]]> img308.jpg

I was surprised to see this selection of Gamer Gift Cards at my local grocery store while standing in line to check out. I'd say it's a good sign that gaming has become so prevalent that a grocery story would put it right next to the likes of Build-A-Bear and Border's gift cards. And what's with the PS2 controller? Or do my eyes deceive me?

<![CDATA[PS3 Gets Fancy Electronic Gift Card At Target]]>

Now even Target is making Sony follow in Nintendo's footsteps! You may remember a few weeks ago when we reported about the glowing Wii gift card available from Target. Not to be outdone by Nintendo (again), Sony now has a fancy new fangled gadgetron gift card. From what I can tell, it looks like this one actually has some sort of digital display that gets lit up with an eerie blue light.

Does anyone know if the logo and all those little squares are just an image or an actually an electronic display? I can hardly wait to see what the Microsoft one will do. I'd like to imagine it would project a holographic rotating 360 that explodes after you use the card. Now that would be impressive!

Thanks, Joaquin.

Okay, this Wii gift card from Target is just awesome. It looks less like a gift certificate and more like a science-fiction holocube. Who would ever spend currency this cool?
