I could have gotten in on his offer but I decided against it as I just felt bad for the guy (as it blew up beyond what he expected). However, it is beyond awesome that he actually did stick to his words....very Bushido of him.

I played with Mikey on Day 2 for maybe 10 or 15 minutes. He gave me some loot and shot some guys for me. He was so tired though. At one point he stopped talking and his character just stood there for like 5 minutes. Said he'd zoned out completely. I told him to go take a nap or something and thanked him for the loot.

It was pretty awesome that he kept his promise, and he was pretty good about answering questions like "no seriously, how many guns are actually in this game?"

I played with Mikey the morning of release, he dropped me four or five level 30-35 weapons and bought me a few things at vending machines.

We played for about 20-25 mins before he had to run along to get everyone else on the list.

I thanked him and told him I quite enjoyed the game. Was real nice of him for doing this. #gearbox

You can also get a trophy if you play on your PS3. Just thought I'd mention that since Kotaku has a bad habit of pretending that trophies don't exist. #gearbox

@Lord Shplane: well, achievements came first and got popularized in the mindset of the culture. I think it's more a blanket term now, like Kleenex with facial tissues and Q-tip with cotton swabs. #gearbox

yes, i am loving the ever living crap out of this game. I already want a sequel. I already started the game with all 4 characters and have a lvl 18 soldier, lvl 14 hunter, 9 berserker and 6 siren. This is seriously the best Co-Op game i'v played in recent memory. It's fantastic. #gearbox

I have to say that to say something off hand and then to follow through with it is outstanding.

I am very impressed with Neumann and what he delivered to gamers. I have to say that I didn't really intend to pick this game up (I have a huge backlog of video games xbox and ps3), but with the efforts he is putting into making us the consumers happy it just kind of makes me speechless. #gearbox
