Level 26 of Velocity 2X has taken over my day. I wish I could just let go and move on with my life, but I am literally ONE SECOND away from a gold Perfect medal. A SECOND. I have been chasing that second for about an hour, now.
A Vita game I can't stop playing: If you've got a Vita, check out Surge Deluxe, a highly enjoyable (and addictive) electro-charged tile-matching game from Futurlab. At a certain point it clicks, and you'll be hooked. Futurlab's next game will be Velocity 2X for Vita and PS4.
Velocity Ultra, the teleporting vertical shoot-em-up for the Vita which we rather liked, is making its way to PC. The port is being handled by Curve Studios of Stealth Bastard fame, and will include customizable controls and graphics enhancements. Expect it to pop up on Steam around late December.
