Based on the fact I have stopped playing PC, DSi is mostly for messing around with Korg DS-10 and the fact that Wii is cheating, because I play Virtual Console and GameCube in it all the time. #featuredcomment

Every now and then, a pet does something that the owners get so proud, they have to tell everyone they know about it.
Which is this comment by Ladi. :P

But, really, we're not a community. We don't look out for each other and some of us would probably happily take a box cutter to the car of the other person who liked these people, that game, this developer, that tv show. We use the term gaming community but often as not the flame wars around about consoles or companies. I've seen flame wars about politics, sexuality, legality, you name it. We aren't a gaming community and we don't limit our squabbles to games, any more than we screen past all personality accoutrements to focus entirely on game-related issues in choosing who we "follow."
Which acknowledgment shouldn't be a call to self-flagellation. You can stick any label on a bunch of text and people who read it that you want. You can't expect it to accurately describe the labelees. Maybe the "gaming community" has become spoiled, but so has most of the internet-savvy world. That's the moment we're at right now.

Ultimately I take it like a recommendation from a friend - and I definitely have different taste in gaming than most of my friends. A review is like a preview with some general advice, but I read them more to get to know what the game is like then to pass final judgement on it.
