fuck this is another game I got to get, but the bad part is this is one of those racing games where you really NEED A WHEEL to be able to enjoy it to the fullest.
Seriously do not need to fill my place with more crap than it already has... but man the game is just so awesome looking and my friends are bugging the shit out of me to get it. #forzamotorsport3
@Witzbold: They improved the controller controls a lot. You will be fine with out the wheel. It feels so much better the Forza 2.
The longer you take to buy it the more cars your friend will have bought and tease you :P #forzamotorsport3
@Witzbold: You don't need a wheel to enjoy it. It would enhance the game, but you don't need it. Just like you don't need a 60 inch Plasma. It would be nice, but not necessary. #forzamotorsport3
@Witzbold: Be consoled in the knowledge that, if you get it and then get a wheel later, you will still love it. I find it simply amazing even with the controller. It's not ideal perhaps, but your experience will not be hurting for it. #forzamotorsport3
Nice, though I already have the skins. I did get the game because it had the GenCoupe in it while no others do yet... but it'd be kinda cool if they added the 2.0L Turbo version too some time. #forzamotorsport3
@fuchikoma: Sweet! I'm not big into car games so I didn't know if any of them had the Gen Coupes yet. I just bought one in real life though, so I might give Forza a rent just to mess around with the Genesis in it. #forzamotorsport3
@liquid_kore: Same here... I have the 2.0T GT (much like the American "track" model.)
They only have the V6 in the games, but the chassis/suspension handles much as you'd expect, and continues to be manageable after its power is pushed WAY up (it starts as a "D" class car and I'm taking it through "A" class right now...) #forzamotorsport3
I'm quite enjoying this game (and I haven't enjoyed a racing sim since the first Gran Turismo) and a few new cars is always good.
Although I can't say I'm a fan of that Hyundai nor the new Ferrari nor the Audi...
I also don't like how the game still chooses to display the VIP Club cars that were a pre-order exclusive and, therefore, unobtainable. Dirty teases, they are! #forzamotorsport3
So a guy isn't feeling too well, and he goes to see his doctor. The doctor asks him what is wrong, and the man explains that he has been having constant, painful, and embarrassing gas.
Almost on cue, he lets lets a huge one rip, and it made a really loud and peculiar sound that went "H-H-H-H-H-Hooooooonda!"
The doctor covers his nose and ponders for second, and then says, "Have you had any sex lately?"
"No," the man replies. "I'm dating this wonderful woman, but we're waiting until we get married to make it more special."
"Well that's your problem, then." the doctor says. "Abstinence makes the fart go 'honda'." #forzamotorsport3
@Yossarian: Sherlock Holmes was hiking one Sunday afternoon when he heard a great explosion. Tilting his head upwards in the general direction of the blast, he saw that a freight aircraft flying overhead had taken heavy damage from an engine failure. The fuselage had been breached, and what appeared to be car parts were raining down all around him.
Grabbing his companion, Dr. Watson, sternly by the lapels of his overcoat, Holmes dragged them both to the nearest available piece of safe cover, and proceeded to examine a sprocket which had lodged itself in the ground.
"Hmm," he said to Watson with consternation, "it appears that plane was carrying a consignment at the request of a large Japanese car company."
"How on earth did you deduce that?" gasped Watson with alacrity.
"Elementary, my dear Watson, it's been raining Datsun Cogs". #forzamotorsport3
I'm a total car nerd, and this game is the greatest gift to car nerds ever. They radically improved the driving physics over Forza 2 (I didn't think that was possible). I own a 300zx and the 300zx in the game really feels just like my car, which has very distinctive handling (it oversteers easily and corrects easily). I used to own an integra and the integra feels just like my old one. All the cars I've driven in real life that are in the game really feel the same. It's incredible.
My biggest complaint of Forza 2 was that the tracks were kind of dull. The tracks are actually fun and exciting now. Beautiful scenery with jumps, tight chicanes, crazy drift courses not to mention rollovers. I drove under a car flying over my head the other day. It's really amazing. My only criticism (and it's a really small one) is I wish they had some more really esoteric cars in there. Like a Citroen SM or Briklin SV1, stuff like that. But still it's just fantastic, if you love cars you will love it.

I really disliked Forza 2 but am really enjoying 3. The progression through the career mode is fun and engaging and the physics feel far better than the previous game. I still think GT5 will be the better game for me but i have to give props to T10 because they have done an excellent job with 3. #forzamotorsport3

I assume the custom design portion works as it did in the original Forza. While this was a surprisingly robust feature, I can't understand why in this day and age, when the machines have a USB interface, why players can't download a template from the game and create their own skins in a program like Photoshop. Perhaps copyright infringement is a concern, but then why not have a standalone tool to do the same thing? It could be packed in the the special edition of the game, for those who wanted the option. #forzamotorsport3
This game looks amazing and so does GT5.. The only thing that I don't really like besides the rewind feature, which like most say can just be ignored, is the fact that u can flip a car on it's hood after an incredible crash and just flip it back on it's wheels and keep driving like nothing ever happened.. To me that's not simulation. I've been reading a lot of people trash talk GT5 and how it doesn't have crash physics (well now their implementing some type of physics) and real simulators should, blah blah blah... But what's the point of real crash physics if they don't affect the car? You can basically total your car and spin off the nose and do a ballet dance then land back on your wheels and keep driving? That to me is a feature best fit for an arcade racer not a simulator. If GT5 adds physics that don't affect the car then I say they should just leave them out... Me I own both 360 and PS3 and I will be getting both games regardless. The question to which game is better will be answered when I get my hands on GT5 next year..... #forzamotorsport3
@Angel Diaz: You make a good point. And the more I have thought about it recently, how common are rolls in motorsports events? I know some types of racing are more likely to have rolls and flips than others, but in terms of this kind of car racing rolls are very rare. #forzamotorsport3
Lately I've considered buying a car racing game. All I want is as much fun as possible, I don't care about realism at all because I know practically nothing about cars except that Mary Ward was the first person to be attacked by one. Hell, I don't even know where they started to breed them in the first place (yes, this made the plot-line to transformers a bit convoluted). Anyway, which racing game will provide the most pure entertainment on the xbox service? #forzamotorsport3
imo, burnout paradise gets repetitive entirely too fast. Gone are the challenges of the old games for racking up points in crashes, instead you can do it almost anywhere and effortlessly continue it for minutes ( i think my record was like 6 minutes or something, got bored ) #forzamotorsport3
@expansionsss - the jaded gamer: I wouldn't know, I can't play any racing or fighting game for hours on end. They're occasional diversions - play for an hour here and here. #forzamotorsport3
Turn 10 made a big mistake by claiming that FM3 is the best racing game this gen.
GT5 isn't even out, and Yamauchi hinted at the new damage system that takes speed and impact angle into account. He also said we can change "every" part of the car.
Nobody denys that FM3 is awesome, but claiming to be the best without having to compete with any of the big GT games is not really something I take serious. #forzamotorsport3
@Raze88: So instead they have to compete with something that doesn't even exist?
That's like me judging your comment here based on one I'm going to write next September that will end up winning Comment of the Week. I can guarantee mine will be better than yours, but should you have to listen to about how mine is better right now? #forzamotorsport3
@Raze88: They said "definitive", and after playing I'd have to agree with them.
With Forza 2 came so many things that us GT fans wished were in GT. We haven't seen this stuff yet, not even in Prologue (I mean, friend's leaderboards for each event isn't asking for the world).
FM3 brings us even MORE great features, like a "follow" list where you can follow the best racers, tuners, and painters without having to add them to your friend's list.
There are just so many areas that PD has to catch up on. FM2 set the bar for sim racers (which Prologue couldn't meet because it was a demo) and FM3 set a bar even higher. #forzamotorsport3
Ive yet to open my Batman AA copy for my PS3, so Im goiing to trade it in tomorrow for Forza 3. I can wait til i get some more money to play Batman. #forzamotorsport3
@dantheman1515: My god man, WHY? Batman is so good, can't there be room for both? And shame on you for not opening it, did you even get to play it? And don't base off the demo, it didn't do the game justice (which I guess can be said about the Forza demo now that it's out). #forzamotorsport3
@dantheman1515: Your not going to get a lot for Batman just keep it!! At least play it once you'll get hooked then finish it its not overly long! #forzamotorsport3
