and I wish Nintendo would stop releasing minor upgraded versions of their handhelds and stick to making actual upgrades.

Slightly larger screens, and you can download mini games that may or may not utilize the cameras. It's still just a DS, that happens to eat battery quicker and not play GBA games. A MAJOR upgrade would be a sequel system.

I don't think so. While I like my PSP and all, using discs for a portable system's medium is kind of bulky. Plus, the power drain needed by the mechanism to read the disc.
Sticking with flash memory cards (but in larger capacities) is the way to go.

Of course I know, but if you want that internal memory unusable for any form of exploit you will need to keep it small, thus limiting the amount of saves, and what have you, you can have.
He suggested total removal of flash memory, which isn't viable for a laser optics medium handheld.
