With the controversy that the Columbine-based game Super Columbine Massacre RPG! caused, the Virginia Tech tragedy was bound to receive a game version by someone. Flash site New Grounds has a flash game titled V-Tech Rampage. The worst part? V-Tech Rampage doesn't bring anything more than shoddy, tacky game play to the table. Free speech and free expression are great. Just make sure you've got something to say. Otherwise, it's noise.

<![CDATA[Hot Flahes: The Mario Pac-Man Game]]>

The controls are iffy, and the game could be so much better. Do like the idea of a Mario Pac-Man mash-up, though — Just wish it was, well, better.

<![CDATA[Flash Game To Suck Your Soul: Grow Cube]]>

Here's a little something to while away those lonely hours waiting for your Wii to arrive or to take up all that time at your job when your supposed to be working. It's a devious little game, unsuspecting and cutsey, seemingly simple... but beware! This game will own your soul after a few go-rounds.

You are presented with a basic cube and 10 different little icons. Your job is to place each of these objects on to the cube and let the little animations do their work. As more items are added, other items level up. The trick is to be able to level each item to it's max by games end and thus, receive the best ending. Sounds easy enough, but the items must be added in the proper order to make it all work properly and with 10 items, that a lot of combinations. It's great fun and very addictive!

Before you get sucked in though, take a look around the website as there are several other of these games there for your perusal. Good luck and happy growing!

<![CDATA[Burgertime with Sushi!]]>

In the classic Midway arcade game Burgertime, players raced around a maze, trying to avoid the bad guys and assemble hamburgers. But, who eats hamburgers anymore? I do and so do you, but we also have more developed palates which crave things like dead, raw fish.

Game site Insert Credit unearthed this neat little flash game called Sushi Samurai: "Honour Is Your Appetizer". Yeah, that title almost scared me away as well, but hell, it's on Canadian Broadcasting Corporation kid's page. Totally agree with IC's Brandon Sheffield who points out that the sushi version could totally use Burgertime's core mechanic. In the original, Brandon notes, you could would across a piece of food, causing it to fall and knock off the enemy below. Still, this version occupied a fair bit of my morning.

<![CDATA[3D Invades Space Invaders]]>

The arcade classic Space Invaders gets reworked as a frustrating 3D shooter. Whatever made the game cool in the first place (the timing, the patterns) has been sucked out in the name of an extra dimension. Puns aside, they can have it. I want my 2D shmup.

<![CDATA[Sextris]]> sextris.jpg

Sex meets Tetris. I can think many things that would mix well with Alexey Pazhitnov's classic game, but sex isn't one of them. Regardless, here's a flash game that combines Tetris with pornography. Clear lines and a naughty picture appears. Did I say it's NSFW? Well, it's NSFW. —Brian Ashcraft

<![CDATA[Massively Multiplayer Pong]]> MMOpong.jpg

Details are scant on this MMO Pong game. By "scant," that means we know zilch about it, including how to play. In this apparently real game, groups of players battle together in a one-on-one never-ending flash game. What's next, MMO Pac-man?

Like the NES classic, but with Mario question boxes, punches in the crotch and decapitating kicks. Twelve year-old boys will *heart* this flash game.

Ready for an offer you can't refuse? Packing heat, the plumber-turned-hitman is rubbing out Goombas and making Koopas sleep with the fishes in this nifty flash game. My advice: Leave the gun. Take the canolies.
