I have an AceKard2 for my DS Lite, and it is a fantastic piece of kit. I would never have gotten to play Elite Beat Agents if not for the awesomeness of flashcards. And also Chrono Trigger months before its UK release. I find it funny how a flashcard and a Micro SD is cheaper than a single DS game.

@J4cK 0f He4rt5: I find that the flashcards are the only way to keep up if you live in the UK.

Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations.

My R4 enabled me to play this fantastic game the day it was released in America on October 23, 2007. The UK release was October 3, 2008 >:(.

Do Nintendo seriously expect me to just suck it up and wait an entire year after its release to play the finale of a series that I absolutely adore? When I can get it now? No. The R4 allowed me to play it right away.

Of course I bought it when I could but thats not the point. The point is that flashcards are a godsend. That was an exception btw. I just use my flashcard for the Mega Drive emulator most of the time. All I ever play on it in fact <3.

I'm very glad that a flashcard now works. Now somebody just needs to test it to see if jEnesis DS works on it.

Well, Nintendo, I certainly hope that wasn't the only real reason you released the DSi. It was a nice idea, I suppose, but you had to realize it would never last. Lesson learned?

@Spidery_Yoda: Yes, that is my point. I'm not sure how difficult it'd be to plug in the method they used, but who knows? Nintendo likes to do things on a budget, so they may just forget about doing so.

I know these things can be used for homebrew but homebrew doesn't bring these devices into almost every Amazon DS charts (sold by Amazon sellers not the store itself). Piracy on DS is pretty bad - most of my nephew and niece's friends use these devices (meaning their parents download the games for them) and I have a really hard time explaining to "my" kids why they have to pay €40 for their games. :-(

They never even had two months. Piracy is still rampant on the previous ds models and this one stood zero chance of going piracy free for any extended period of time.
