I'd totally buy that and put it right next to my Tifa and Mitsuru Kirijo figurines in my cubicle.

I'd worry about a scantily clad ninja maid getting me in trouble at the office, but I have the Soul Calibur IV preorder bonus calendar hanging in my cube, and guess what month March is?

Depends. Are you male or female? If you're of the fairer sex, then you can pretty much have a poster of Voldo bending over backwards and it'll just be chalked up to quirky behavior from the office gamer chick. It'd be the same for the Iroha statue. If you're of the gruffer sort (hopefully not a neckbeard), then well, even if you don't get fired, you're going to be that creepy dude in the office who makes all the ladies uncomfortable.

@WDYC: The unfortunate result of the popularity of subservient women in Japan. Goes hand in hand with the maid and rape fetish I suppose. I do have to wonder what Japanese girls think of how dominant this mindset seems to be over there. Actually, I think a lot of that has been toned down over the years, at least in terms of the whole anime porn thing. Where once the majority of titles that were produced featured and "celebrated" rape, gore, humiliation, etc. it seems that the most popular ones these days are the light-hearted romps or the love stories. There have also been enough eyes towards the industry lately if news articles are to believed - I think perhaps now that it's much easier to find foreign assessments of your country due to the Internet, who wouldn't be upset knowing that the world knows you for wacky porn?

As for the whole "boys will be boys" thing, I doubt any of that stuff is socially acceptable; the only difference is that over there, it's legal to produce.
